Y'know, I really hope this makes up for the disaster that is the Unova League.

Don't screw this up, writers. This is the only thing that can save Unova from being horrible...as if it wasn't horrible enough.

Nope, the writers brought team rocket back to pad episode lengths again, there is no hope of salvation.

Team Rocket has been doing so for the past 15 years - no one gives a shit anymore.

FAINTS

Let me catch my breath and give my slightly disjointed oppinion.

That was so precious! They seem to be drawing a parallel between N and Ash, which obviously points to their status as the dragon's heroes. I don't think N is overrated at all, I think he's rated as much as he deserves to be, as the boy is, without any doubt, the most well developed character in the main series. Also, can I take a moment to say how wonderful Jessie's Frillish and James's Amoonguss are? Knocking friggin Pikachu out, Holy Flying Arceus that was awesome. Also also, even though hihiHiroshi Kamiya did a great job as N in the animated trailer, IMO, his voice would be the pretty standard ''pretty-boy voice'', and I think those get pretty jarring in the long run. Yuuichi Nakamura's voice is pretty sweet though (fan of him playing Gray in Fairy Tail) as it blends mystery, seriousness and also a lot of charm and charisma, so, it's pretty much a perfect voice for N's character (not like it has anything to do with me predicting this casting or anything...).

I hope more of Ash's Pokémon return instead of just Charizard, although I'm not sure if I want just Zekrom vs Reshiram or Reshiram vs Charizard aswell. Dragonite would also make sense. As for the other legendaries, I'm very curious to Genesect's and Mewtwo's involvement, they could easily be Plasma's and Rocket's powerhouses, as both share pretty close origins. Speaking of Team Rocket though, am I the only one that remembers that Attila and Hun captured a Rayquaza? It was in the ninth movie's opening narration, I think, and as Rayquaza is also getting loads of merchandise, I'm hoping something would happen about that. Because someone has to do something with that cool idea.

Bigger picture of Neo Plasma.

Does this say anything new?

Also, there will be a new trailer for this after BW107 and another after the New Years special.

Now they're making merchandising of Deoxys? o_o

This is sounding good.

Well, there IS going to be a Wi-Fi distribution of Deoxys, so maybe that's what it's about?

Maybe they are going to have a three way between the space virus, the clone gone horribly wrong and the 300 million year old robot bug.

Sightly unrelated, but about the BW rivalries that would appear after the league, don't expect too much because the saga is about N, Team Plasma and possibly Team Rocket. Of course, with this situation we won't have 7 open rivalriues and 7 rivals won't appear in the arc.

For rivals:
Trip and Stephan won't appear after the league. The writers don't like Trip (or I though) and Stephan is a minor rival. Trip has a chance in Nuvema Town.
Kotetsu and Virgil can appear or can't appear. I'll know what happen in the league to give some idea if they'll appear or not.
Bianca will (almost) appear. Because it's Juniper's assistant, I predict that will be Juniper's assistant, promotes the games, etc. And because Ash needs to take the reserves to Kanto at the end, it's possible that Bianca will make her last appearance later than Iris. (I'm serious).
Georgia and Burgundy will appear because we need resolution to Iris and Cilan rivalries (in a way). If the Junior Cup was their ending, that will be really bad writing in another level.

To resume, doesn't make sense for Ash to keep 5 rivalries after the League when 2 of them were League rivals. And if Ash were to have big battles will be with N and also I see Ash facing Ghetsis and Colress. And I'm the creator of the "easy" Elite 4* to mimic the games storyline but that doesn't mean that will happen. the rivalries on-going will be Iris' and Cilan's rivals and the only Ash's rivals that Ash hasn't fought in the Leafgue, it's friend and has a role with one of the character of the N's arc (Bianca).

*I see the Elite 4 here. Completely. Why? Because Caitlin doesn't meet Ash and it's veryu strange to not meet Ash and co. if the episode features a important non-villain character.
Basically, Caitlin don't interacted with Ash's gang in the JC, the rest of the Elite 4 needs a appearance, N and the pokemon league are realted in the games (I know games =/= anime) and that one of the things that I realized about N's arc is the abscene of Reshiram and Zoroark and the incomplete story with Zekrom.

deoxys stuff/wifi event is because of promotion for the new card game set, not the anime.

I hope we see more of Ash's old Pokemon too, but hey, Charizard is at least better than nothing dare I say. For me, it's Ash's Buizel that I really want to see again.

Personally, to me, Best Wishes has been a trainwreck so far, but it seems like that Episode N shows signs of a turnaround, though I won't keep my hopes up entirely.

Not happening, but that would be really cool.

Uber Fight!

Charizard seems to be carrying Cilan's pansage like what flying pokemon did in meloetta(TR) arc.. so assuming Charizard wil return when situations turn out to be real difficult for Ash to handle or when every hope seem to have faded it may be coming out of blue sky like the red sun.. this coud be happening at the end of this N arc

Charizard is probably only going to be around for a few episodes, similar to the past. I bet he won't come till later in the saga too.

I hope that if Charizard does return that they find a way to get Ash to meet him at the Driftveil Drawbridge, having all of the Charicific Valley Charizard doing a group visit there for a different reason and Ash going to meet it would be a far more reasonable thing than having it somehow fly all the way there on its own because Ash called for it.

The storyline with N could take place anywhere, but there's some call for travelling down back to Nuvema Town, firstly because Ash usually returns to the town he started in at the end of the region, but also because of the P2 Laboratory if they choose to use that, which would mean going back via Driftveil would make sense.

Of course they could always just get on a ship at a anime-exclusive town port and travel in one episode all the way, but if Ash's Charizard does come back as part of the N storyline I hope they take advantage of the game reference.

It'd also be nice if Charizard decided that it had gotten as much out of being in the Valley as it could and returned to Oak's - it's not like it matters all that much either way but it'd be nice for Ash's Pokemon to all be on hand rather than spread out in Johto.

Yeah, considering how much of a letdown the PWTJC was and the league is shaping up to be, I think not getting our hopes up is best till more info comes up.

...

Hold on, a Charizard will be there too?! Could it be?

You know, a lot of official Japanese Pokemon whatevers seem to be taken over by Team Plasma recently.

The reason is clearly obvious, but I wonder why. It wasn't this big in 2011. Are they trying to make up for the lack of Team Plasma vs Team Rocket?

I swear. One, at least one, of the Team Plasma Grunts needs to do this in the actual show.
