Pokemon BW2 Importers (Play-Asia) & Friend-code Swap

This thread is basically asking everybody who pre-ordered form Play-Asia to post or talk about whenever their game was shipped. I thought this might be appropriate as Play-Asia has put up the "Preparing order" status and some of you may be just as anxious as I am, haha.

So talk away about when you expect to get your order. Furthermore when people do get their own copies and wish to have a friend to play through with, we can use this thread to Swap codes and give each other advice with. Have fun guys! :-D

I pre-ordered my copy of White 2 yesterday morning using PayPal (so I paid in advance). The last I heard, the bank had taken my money but Play-Asia were still waiting for them to release the funds.

I pre-ordered as soon as I could haha, both games! I always pre-order.

I'll be starting with Black 2 as I played Black in japanese. My order still says "preparing order" too. I paid the most expensive shipping so hopefully it won't take too long. I'm trying to avoid the internet and most of the topics in this section cos of the spoilers...I like in the UK though so it might be a while yet...

My order hasn't even appeared yet. Basically, the problem was PayPal randomly decided that it didn't think I was actually me any more, so they put restrictions on my account. So I had to send them my bank statement and a scan of my ID card. The limit has been lifted, so I've emailed Play-Asia to let them know.

Ah that sucks. I always have problems like that with my bank...stupid banks, with their fraud detection thing. I wanted to change the delivery address on mine but I was too scared to change anything, as I didn't want to accidentally mess up my delivery order thing.

Play-asia is usually really good though, they tend to ship games before the release date if they can.
I'm taking a week off work (not next week the one after) just to play the game xD Hopefully have it by then.

I live in the UK too, my status is still preparing order... (-__-) haha. It's awesome some people already have the games! And that sucks about your bank account Gym Leader Janine. Hopefully I don't come across this problem also!

Aren't these games region-locked, though? It's been mentioned on PokeBeach, but I haven't seen anyone here mention it.

Region-locked on the DSi and 3DS, but you can still play them on any DS or DS Lite from any country.

They're region locked on the DSi, but you can still play them on the DS lite or the original DS just fine.

Yeah I'm playing on my DS Lite, but even so some of us may have Japanese consoles haha I plan to get a Japanese 3DS in a few months!

I have pondered getting a Japanese 3DS, then buying Japanese games as a digital download when the time comes.

Anyway, I managed to sort out PayPal. I sent Play-Asia a customary email explaining what had happened - hopefully they sort it out on their end soon.

Yeah, that Way I'll also be able to get the Japanese AR Searcher game so it's compatible to my copy of White 2 haha.

But that's good to here! Sometimes paying with a card over the internet can be such a pain...

Ah I went to check to see if my order had been shipped yet (I'm very impatient) but it looks like Play-Asia site is down.

Well, I didn't pre-order with Play-Asia but with CDJapan and it says that is In Shipping Process, so I hope that means that it will be shipped soon xD anyway I'll love to swap friend codes with all of you! C: I paid for fast shipping so hopefully I'll have it by next week *crosses fingers*

Yeah about the same as me then! But then again mine has said preparing order for about 3 days now haha, they may have the orders in but are waiting to ship them or something? I really hope they ship in a few hours!

Ah I see, I've never heard of CD Japan before, but thanks! I'd be glad to swap friend codes with you too, I'll PM you mine whenever I get my copy of the game But I'm hoping we get an early shipment and that way get the games on Saturday or something haha

My game has shipped! It's ETA is June 25th. Hopefully I'll be lucky and it'll come a day before that :3
