Pokemon Cafe

omg that is so awesome! Why do these things never come to other parts of the world *sobbing*

Would love to work there too, only time I can dress up as a Pikachu at work.

I'd much rather dress up as anything but Pikachu

If Nintendo thought it was a viable business plan in the US, they would do it. There just aren't enough pokemon fans concentrated in one area because you have a massive country.

That is the first time in my life I've ever heard someone call my country massive haha.

My problem is more that my country's too small, we hardly get any Pokémon stuff here, except for the games themselves.

I very much doubt things like this are not viable business plans in Europe though, I more have the feeling that Nintendo somehow underestimates the fans here. There was a temporary Pokémon Center in Paris last year, it only sold like five different plushies, each one filling only one or two shelves.

After the first day people were only allowed to buy one plushie, because they sold too fast.

They were sold out on the second day anyway.

It was supposed to be there for two weeks.

Sorry for assuming you were american! Europe is another story entirely in terms of its population density in France - Belgium - Netherlands - Germany area, and I definitely think there's room for a pokemon center somewhere in there!

They could easily combine it with the Pokémon Center (maybe with massive signs saying 'NO ENTRY WITH FOOD' for the shop section) and open a few here and there.
