Pokémon Center Nagoya, currently located on the 5th floor of the Matsuzakaya mall in the Sakae area of Nagoya's Naka Ward, will be relocating to a larger and more accessible location on the 2nd floor of the PARCO East Building, also in Sakae. The current store is scheduled to close on September 8th, though as of writing no date for the opening of the new store has been announced.

As a gift of gratitude to all of their customers over the years, shoppers at the current Pokémon Center Nagoya store between August 1st and the store's permanent closure will receive one of three exclusive clear card at random. These clear cards have been designed around the current mascot Pokémon for Pokémon Center Nagoya, which are Chikorita, Fuecoco, and Pikachu. The promotion will be available only while stocks last, and a maximum of one clear card is given per checkout.

This distribution is being held concurrently with the Pokémon Center Festival promotion, which will run in Pokémon Centers and participating Pokémon Center branch stores across Japan between August 1st and September 8th. The exact contents of this promotion differ from store to store, with the Nagoya store offering activities including Dance Greetings with Pikachu, appearances by Captain Pikachu, Pokémon TCG and Pokémon GO related activities, mini carnival attractions and bingo for younger fans, and workshops for fans to create their own original Pokémon Center keychains from their choice of 64 different parts.

This is the second time Pokémon Center Nagoya has relocated. The original store opened on October 11th in 2002 on the basement level of the Oasis 21 shopping mall in the Higashi-Sakura area of Nagoya's Higashi ward. That store closed on March 16th, 2013, ahead of the March 20 opening of the present location in the Matsuzakaya mall.

More details about Pokémon Center Nagoya's relocation, including the date on which the new store will open, will be announced at a later date. All information is subject to change without notice.
