Following the announcement earlier this month, the popular Pokémon Center Online Store has now soft launched for Pokémon fans in Australia and New Zealand.

The Pokémon Center Online store stocks a wide variety of Pokémon merchandise, including both the same goods that would be found at other retailers, as well as a variety of exclusive items such as plush toys from Japan, collectables, and homewares. Many items are available for a limited time only, as part of seasonal and themed collections released at different times of the year. While the FAQ states that not all products are current available in every region, the website does appear to offer the vast majority of products from the US, Canada, and UK stores.

As of writing, delivery prices do seem somewhat high, with delivery times upwards of 2 weeks for standard shipping. This would suggests that products are being shipped to Australia and New Zealand from internationally, rather than being distributed from a local warehouse, at least for this soft launch. The FAQ explicitly notes that Pokémon Center Australia and New Zealand is unable to offer free shipping at this time.
