Cartoon Network charted strong prime time and total day ratings and delivery gains among all targeted kid demos last week vs. the same 2005 time period, including impressive double-digit growth among kids 6-11, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. Weeknight and weekend prime time programming proved particularly powerful as original comedy series The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (M-Th, 8 p.m.), Ed, Edd n Eddy (M-Th, 8:30 p.m.), and Camp Lazlo (M-Th, 9 p.m.), and action-adventure acquisitions Pokémon Chronicles (Sat, 7-8 p.m.), Naruto (Sat, 8:30-9:30 p.m.) and Xiaolin Showdown (M-Th, 9:30 p.m.) each earned across-the-board increases among the network’s kids and tweens audiences.
