Red was looking down from a hill, his red jacket kept getting blown off by the strong winds of the morning, he lifted his red cap as he stared at the peaceful town of Pallet. "Is it really possible for us to live so peacefully?" he asked himself. He heard crumbling as he turned around a Rhyperior growled at him. "You again," he said as he grabbed the metallic red and white ball he had on his belt. "Go Pikachu!" the little yellow rat came out instantly as it stayed mid air. "Iron Tail!" Red yelled as Pikachu's tail glowed in a steel white color as it slashed it across Rhyperior's body. "I guess this is the only way to get you out of my sight, go," he threw another pokeball, the Rhyperior was sucked in and after three pinges it stopped.

"Hey...I was trying to catch that Rhyperior!" a voice came out of the trees. A small slender girl with fiery red hair stepped out of the trees, hands on her hips and a disgruntled pout on her lips. With a sigh, Kari grumbled something about 'stupid boys' and walked past him, heading down the hill towards Pallet Town proper.

"Well maybe you should keep your eye on your catch," Red said as he turned around to look at her, he had always believed that catching was like hunting if you don't focus on your prey then you lose it, actually everything Red believed about Pokemon was related to the wild. He jumped down as he started sliding down the hill trying to keep his balance so that he wouldn't fall over.

Seighart smiled, shook his head, and chuckled. Something about a girl like that one who whined about capturing the Rhyperior amused him. And worried him at the same time.

Red finished sliding down, he dusted his pants off, or what was left of them. He sighed. "I need some new pants but no sense in wasting money for something that'll get wasted in a day." he started walking after putting his hands in his pockets, his pants and basically his jacket and gloves were all worn out, after having them for seven years it was surprising the actually adjusted to his size and that they weren't totally torn off themselves

"I was trying to!" Kari pouted back, standing at the bottom of the hill. She'd gotten down with no trouble, having scaled and come down much steeper hills with no effort at all. "But it kept getting away! And then you started battling it." With a small 'humph,' she crossed her arms again. "An' I'm not a thief."

Seighart walked down, heading for the town that was Pallet Town, hometown of Ash Ketchum. His black hair, short and spikey, swayed a little as the wind went through it. His hazel eyes shone gently as he looked skyward. He decided to answer for the girl. "Nope, just a girl who has a hard time catching up to her target." He said in a joking manner.

"I can see you're not a person that keeps to herself either." Red shook his head, he knew girls like her mostly the girls from Pallet were like that and girls that normally came from other cities. Truth is most of the Pokemon Red caught were set free because he didn't consider them spirited enough and because everyone kept bothering about how they wanted to catch a certain Pokemon he caught. "The name's Red Rage by the way," he said, not really caring about giving names but he just thought it'll be polite

"I can too keep up!" Kari snapped, her pout deepening. "I was about to start battling it when this guy showed up!" She turned on her heel and stomped her foot, then took a deep breath and turned back around. "Kari." she grumbled by way of an introduction.

"Red Rage? Bizzare, yet unique. Seighart Warring is my name, battling is my game." Seighart said, smiling. He turned to Kari. "I only meant it as a jest, Kari." He said, still a smile on his face.

"Kari eh?" Red smirked as he kept walking. "Whatever you don't even look that strong," Red looked ahead the gate that led into Pallet Town was right in front. "I don't really know or care who you guys are, but this is my territory." he looked down at his Pikachu. "Sorry let me rephrase that mine and Pikachu's territory."

Kari reddened, grumbling something in acknowledgement of Seighart's apology. "I am too strong!" she screeched at Red. "I was in the top ten in the Hoenn League! An' I've been training here for a long time too!" She stuck her tongue out, child-like, at Red. "It's jerks like you who're the weak ones."

"Stupid Team Alpha.........."said Verde in a strangely deep voice. She was her alter ego V.
"Now I got no where to go!"she had only one place left to go, Pallet Town

"Hey hey hey! Don't go around tossing insults at people!" Seighart said, going at Kari's defense. "And nice resume, Kari." He said after hearing Kari's achievements.

"And then again I defeated that Rhyperior with just one shot, see ya later alligator." he waved as he walked into Pallet. Red decided to get himself some groceries since he was running low, he looked at the TV that was hanging from the roof of the grocery store.

"In World Wide news, the Color Wars is still going hard on everyone, the Blue Alliance has sent various warnings to neutral cities and have command them to pick a side if they pick the Red Alliance's side they will attack instantly, and subsequently a lot of cities have already decided."

Red turned off the TV which got some glared from everyone that was actually paying attention. 'Don't tell me you're actually listening to that crap, we're neutral and we're staying that way." he started walking past them as he heard mumbles like 'who is he to choose what we do' and 'expected from an orphan' this one caught Red's eye. "What did you say," he pushed the man against the shelf. "If you have something to say to me say it to may face." he left the man go and walked over to the counter.

Seighart turned the T.V. back on. "Jesus, man, ever heard of freedom of speech?" He asked.

Kari glared after Red, her fists clenched and shaking slightly with pure anger. "Oh...OH YEAH!" she yelled after him, long after he was out of earshot. It was a pathetic comeback, and she knew it.

A light emerged from one of her pokeballs and a Blaziken appeared, standing next to her and putting a clawed hand on her shoulder. "Blaay..."

Kari sniffed, then turned and hugged the big chicken-like pokemon. "Thanks Backdraft." she said before looking back at Seighart. Her eyes were slightly red, as though she had narrowly avoided crying, and she gave another harrumph. "What're you lookin' at?"

Kari stumbled backwards slightly in surprise at his sudden change in speech style, and her Blaziken stepped protectively in front of her, wrists burning.
