POKEMON COLOSSUEM: NEW ORRE
Some new changes have been made since the last adventure in Orre. Now in Orre the land is now restored. Greevil, after reforming at the end of the second game, uses his fortune to resort the Orre region from a wasteland to a bountiful region with wild Pokemon, along with help from Pokemon Rangers.

Though, now there is a new group called Team Gallent where the ranks of the members are based on chess pieces. Each one of the ranks has a Regi pokemon. The Rook has Regiice, the Bishop has Regirock, the Queen has a Registeel, and Empira (King) has Regigigas. Team Gallent has also reinstated the Shadow Pokemon project hoping it will make it easier to take over Orre.

Also, the four main Colosseums have been turned into a Gym like format. The Colosseums are the Pyrite Colosseum which is located in Pyrite Town has a Rock/Ground field, Obsidian Colosseum is located on the east slope of Mt. Battle and has a Fire field, Realgam Tower is now in the middle of a town and has a changeable field, Phenac Stadium is now open and has a Water field. When you beat a Colosseum you get a symbol like you would if you beat a Gym (though you would get a badge) and if you collect all four symbols you can challenge the Champion. The Championship field and the Champion ate located at the Orre Colosseum and the field is also changeable here as well. (All Colosseum leaders will be acted upon by Godzillawolf)

The Colosseums are also used as Contest Arenas for Coordinators. The Contests consist of three rounds. In one contest there will be 8 contestants. The first round is how your Pokemon looks and the it's move appeal (when it shows off it moves in a attractive way). Four people will be eliminated in the 1st round. The second round consists of Style Battling where the pokemon must battle using strategy and flare. The Judge (Derier44) shall decide when points will be added and subtracted. Each trainer starts with 10 points and a trainer loses points when his pokemon is hit with an attack and trainers get points when their attacks present some sort of flare. The Coordinators will only have to battle one battle in the second round. Two people shall be eliminated in the 2nd round. The third round is just a straight up battle with no time limit. Who ever wins this wins the Ribbon for that Colosseum (all Ribbons are named after the Colosseum they are won at).

Agate town is also still flourishing and has opened a Safari Zone. The Safari Zone is filled with purified Shadow Pokemon that could not find their original trainer. Our characters are Trainors who are native to the Orre region and have their sights set to join the Special Force which was created to stop Team Gallent. Their two starter Pokemon were Eevees but they evolved into a Toxeon and a Polteon. They are currently on their way to HQ to receive equipment and they are also heading to the first Colosseum which is the Pyrite Colosseum in Pyrite Town. The HQ for the Special Squad is also in Pyrite Town.

Name: Devon Allen
Starter: Polteon- Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Detect, Night Shade (he will learn more and I will add them)
Age: 15
Gender: Male

Appearance: Devon is 5"9 and is 178.4 lb's. He has a leen muscular body with a great tan to go with it. He has dirty blonde hair just past his ears, green eyes, and always is wearing his uniform unless he is out with his friends or just shopping. His work uniform consists of a blue and white vest with a black shirt underneath. He wears white pants with the symbol of the Star Squad on the side. When he's out of uniform he wears a black sweatshirt with a pokemon symbol with grey jeans.

Personality: He is very nice and will try to help any pokemon in need which is why he joined the Special Force. Though he has a certain hate for Team Gallent since they stole all of his fathers pokemon. He makes sure his friends are safe before he worries about himself and that includes his pokemon. He hopes that he can find the rightful trainor for all Shadow Pokemon.

History: He was born in Agate town and was a middle class child. He was alright in his pokemon school but what he did stick out in was battling. He then decided to start a journey with his best friend and they both got Eevvees and before they went on their journey's they decided to train hard so they would have an edge in competing in the Colosseums (at this time the Colosseums are competitive battling arenas). They trained in the early morning fog and he also noticed that the Eevvee liked it more when they spent time together. It eventually evolved into a Polteon (which is Devon's) and his friends into a Toxeon. Over time to Colosseums changed into Gym type battling so now they plan on going to the Colosseums to collect symbols and joining the Special Force.

Name: Tracy Connors
Starter: Toxin (Toxeon)- Tackle, Poison Sting, Poison Gas, Acid
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Appearance: She has shoulder length blond hair, blue eyes, and glasses. She’s about 5’4 and was 120 lbs. She always wears blue jeans and a blue t-shirt. She occasionally wears a blue jacket but normally doesn't. She is almost always seen with a computer and sketchpad with her.

Personality: She's shy, but confidant. She loves to learn and is an intelligent girl. She is also willing to stand up for herself as needed and back up her intelligence but sometimes has trouble with things that her data can't help her with. She enjoys drawing Pokemon and kicking evil butt.

History: She moved from Johto with her family as a little child. She was from a rich background but didn’t let anyone at her school know that, except eventually her best friend, Devon. This was because she wanted friends for who she was, not what she had. She eventually got an Eevee along with Devon and trained with them to prepare for the Colosseums. During a battle with the wild Skorpi, Eevee got poisoned but refused to give up and eventually evolved into Toxeon, which she named Toxin. She joined the special forces to help Devon avenge the loss of his father’s Pokemon, as well as compete in contests.

Tracy sat on a stump on the outside of Agate Village, her Toxeon on her lap relaxing. Sense Toxin was calm, she didn't give off her putrid odor she had due to her Putrid Stench ability. It was a defense in battle and against attackers but when she was relaxed, she smelled fine, simular to a Gloom. Tracy looked at her watch. "Devon, where are you?" she asked, looking up.

Toxin sighed. Devon better not blow this off, this was her master's big day, if Devon blew her off, he'd be needing a Tamoto Juice bath.

OOC: For those reading, Polteon and Toxeon's bios and pics are in my Album.

Let's let the Pokemon talk to each other, just put their dialog in italics.
 
"Devon, you are an IDIOT" he thought to himself. He had slept in a little to late and now he was really late. He was in a fast sprint with Rev floating/running beside him. He could see the tree stump at the edge of the path they were going to take to Pyrite Town. He made it there a second later and said "Im really sorry I'm late, I slept in and..." he saw Tracy's shut up face and decided to end there.

OOC: Polteons nickname is Rev

Rev was wondering what his master would do without him. He certaintly wouldn't get up on time. He was angry they were running late though because today marked the start of the Big Journy as his master called it. He also wanted to see Toxin since Toxin was his best friend since they had been hatched. When they got there he went up to Toxin and said "Sorry for being late, someone didn't want to get up this morning" then pointed his head towards Devon.

Toxin looked at him and released her Putrid Stench, letting him know she and Tracy were irritated.

Tracy covered her nose. "Toxin's saying she's upset." she said, the smell was enough to stop some Pokemon in their tracks during a physical battle, 30% of the time, more severe for a Pokemon that had an acute sense of smell like Poochyena or Growlithe. "Its ok, I'm mad at you, but its ok." she said. "Just be glad all your getting is Toxin letting off this smell, I think if you'd kept us waiting longer and she'd have skunked you."

Toxin looked to Rev. "Sorry for the stink, Rev, its for your master, not you." he said, though all the humans would here was him saying the syllibles of his name.
 
Devon looked at his watch and said "Were already behind schedule so I say that we leave now and we might get there by late tonight". He picked up his bag and slung it across his shoulder.

Rev got up and used it's Levitate ability to start hovering above the ground. It then went to Devon's side and asked "Are you coming or not"?
 
Toxin stopped letting off her smell and Tracy set her down. "Sure, lets go." Tracy said, walking down the path, Toxin beside her. "Boy, Orre sure changed since the old days huh?" she asked. "Hard to believe we have Greevil to thank for that, huh?"

Toxin looked to Rev, following her master. "That's true, remember when we were just little Eevee and this place was just a desert?"
 
"Yeah it sure has, I remember being a kid and hearing that this wasteland was going to be turned into a tropical paradise" Devon said. "Though, it still hasn't reached tropical paradise yet, it is more if a lucious landscape but if Greevil keeps funding this project we will eventually get there" he added.

"I remember when we would play hide and seek in the underground Trapinch tunnels, they would get so angry they would form a stampede to chase us out" Rev said then started laughing.
 
Tracy nodded. "I know, not only has he purified his soul, he's purifying Orre as a whole." she said. "Hard to believe that someone who used to be so evil is now a true hero for Orre." she said, smiling. "And the Pokemon Rangers helpped a lot too, they really love Pokemon."

"Yeah, I know, they bit me on the butt a lot." said Toxin, she then smiled slyly. "I got payback for that last time they tried though, remember?" Last time it'd happened, she'd evolved into Toxeon already and she sprayed it right in the face as it tried to bite her.
 
"The Rangers did help a lot, they built the new Safari Zone all by themselves and dedicated it to Shadow Pokemon who needed a new home" Devon said. "Thats another reason I want to join the Special Force, they are dedicated for the better of Pokemon everywhere which is what a Pokemon Ranger is but we are more hush hush".

"Yeah I remember, then it evovled and sent us flying with a Dragonbreath attack" Rev said then started laughing again. He sighed and said "Where did the good times go"?
 
"Yeah, I'm glad the one that beat Greevile didn't decide to just keep all the Shadow Pokemon once it was all over." said Tracy. "But there aren't any Shadow Pokemon at the moment, and Safari Zone has purifed ones from the last time and their descendents as well as other imported Pokemon...still I feel bad for Shadow Pokemon."

Toxin shivered. "Can you imagine? Having your heart shut so your nothing but an emotionless fighting machine?" she asked Rev. "That'd really stink, coming from me that means something."
 
"Yeah, I heard that the factory that made Shadow Pokemon is being demolished next week, I hope that nobody tries to reopen it or tries to make a Shadow Pokemon between now and then" Devon said then started laughing. "Though, I dought that something like that will happen in the next week, it would probably take months to reopen a whole factory"
 
Tracy got a good laugh as well. "So, which is first? Pyrite Colossuem badge or the Contest? I mean which takes place first."
 
"I believe the Gym is open from 10am to 4pm then the contest entry takes place at 4:30pm to 5pm then the contest starts at 5:30pm" Devon answered. "Look, I can see the town in the distance" he exclaimed. It was now dusk and the sun was only half visible in the sky.

"That would probably be very scary, I mean, imagine not being able to feel the emotions that drive us ahead and to only feel the emotions that drive us back" Rev said with a shiver.

"Ok, so what time is it now?" asked Tracy. "I kinda want to see if I can find an Attract TM to teach Toxin before the Contest."

"I want to help Tracy in Contests but I'm not exactly...pretty." said Toxin to Rev. "But with my attacks right, I guess I could be."
 
"Its 4:02 now so if we hurry we can get there for 4:45 and get you in the Contest and do some quick shopping in the Pokemart" Devon said and started into a light jog.

"Contests aren't all about if you look pretty, you can look cool, smart, and tough to get the same appeal that you would if you were cute. Plus, you will do great, you're the smartest, coolest, toughest pokemon I know" Rev said then hurried after Devon.

Tracy joined him in the light jog. "So, Colossuems are the same as before, right?" she asked. "You have to fight through several trainers to reach the leader your Pokemon healed each round?"

"Yeah, I just hope my ability doesn't stink out the judges." said Toxin, though in truth, the stench released for her ability only traveled a short distence around her, close enough to cause Pokemon to sometimes break off physical attacks before they can hit her. Still, she was always concerned about smelling bad, though she really didn't need to.

OOC: Your the Judges and announcer for contests, right?

"Yeah, I fight three trainers with the maximum size of my party so if I fight with one Pokemon they fight with one Pokemon and same with the leader" Devon said. It was now starting to get towards 4:30. "We have to hurry" Devon said then burst out into a full fledged run.

"Contests aren't all about wether you are cute or beautiful, you can have an appeal by being cool, tough, or smart as well and you are one of the coolest, toughest, and smartest pokemon I know" Rev said then bursted after her master again.

OOC: For your contests I will serve as your opponents in battle, announcer, and judge. For my Gym battle we will skip the three trainer battles because that would take long (unless you want to have them) and you will act as the Colosseum Head.

Tracy sped up and the soon reached Pyrite Town. Like the rest of the region, it had improved greatly. "Wow...its changed." she said. "But let's hurry!" she said, running to the Pyrite Colossuem. "Is it too late to enter?" she asked the person at the gate.

"Well...here we go." said Toxin. "Think there's time for me to practice or anything?"

OOC: Depends on the number of Pokemon, one round (single or double), no prob, more than that, yeah, skip.
