Long story short I lost my account details and whilst I have done a few things to get them back, I'm not holding out much hope. If I made a new account would I lose anything substantial or would I just have to re do a lot?
 
@Primal Ursus As far as I know, you'd lose whatever's been done with your old account, such as rankings from battles/competitions you took a part in, and your trainer profile would have to be set up again (which is nothing strenuous, but you'd lose any coins/tokens you had). If you had anything going with the TCG Online, you'd lose anything you had done on their as well.

Really the amount that you would have to re-do is up to what you had previously on your account, but if you've lost your account completely than it may be best to make a new one.
