OP = Season is only from Season 7 and up, but it's not this way for the earlier Seasons

I didn't really enter the site to check out what you're talking about, but it seemed to me like you're implying Orange wasn't in Season 3 - when it clearly was... so yeah... and yes, I know despite me explaining it now for the 23523523 time, people will probably never understand this very simple fact

Season 13 = 36 eps

It's nice how quick you are to defend what the real seasons are, but season 13 is 34 episodes. If those two special become part of anything it'll be season 14.

That being said, I find it interesting that the Season 10 eps have credits during the opening theme. I didn't know TPCi went back and added them to the first DP opening, then I checked on Bulbapedia and found out they're like that for the US DVD releases, too. It doesn't change anything but it's interesting none-the-less.

Disney Channel of Israel already announced they bought Season 13 which contains 36 eps and Movie 13
So yes, Dawn and Brock's eps are included as the final two eps of Season 13, despite the fact the US decided to delay their airing (probably from the same reason Japan did it, cause it's more effective to air a while after the characters left.... but Israel and most of other countries will probably just air all the season's eps in a row without thinking about that)
Dogasu insisted before that I can't be sure the two additional eps are Dawn and Brock's eps - but seriously... I can't see how they can be anything else
Not to mention in Japan the eps really DID feel like DP 192-193 - same OP/ED as the most recent DP eps, same ep title screen, same eyecatch..... so it's not THAT surprising they throwed it into the end of S13
Anyway, let's wait till these two eps air in the US... when the official site will list them as 1335-1336 it'll be a clear fact

Not *really*. But right now, this idea that Season 13 is actually 36 episodes instead of 34 is based entirely on one user (Piplup) reporting what he heard from Disney Channel Israel.

Sorry if I require more concrete proof than a "he said that they said" sort of thing

They're a channel that bought a show and they were told they're getting 36 episodes
I can't see any reason to think there's any kind of mistake, especially since it makes sense to include these two eps... it's pretty obvious the US purposely delay their airing from the same reasons they did in Japan... but most of other countries will just air all eps in a row, and not really think about "oh, it'll be more effective to air a while after these characters left"...
Anyway, as I said, we'll see in the near future, when the eps do air in the US and we'll see how Pokémon.com will list them on their site

You own a US box set which go by opening theme titles
If you'd take a look at the Australian box sets, you'll see they go by the real official seasons as they're listed on Pokémon.com and in my post
The US simply decided to release it to DVD this way, but it's not the official Seasons way...
When a channel somewere in the world say they'll air Season X - they mean the official Seasons, not "sagas" (which is why when CN of the US aired "Season 3" a while ago they aired the last bunch of Orange eps... which was funny cause it was "for HGSS", I guess someone there thought Season 3 = Johto like many think, told them to air S3, so they did but it was actually Orange...)

Well maybe Disney of Israel asked for the two specials specifically, because the Australian SLV box sets are two sets of 17 episodes (well, that's a slight assumption because the second one hasn't been announced yet, but so far every other DP box set divided the seasons exactly in half, except for 10-1 which had 25 eps instead of 26 because season 10 only had 51 episodes.)

Not to mention the countries outside of the US that have finished airing season 13 who haven't had the specials either. If they'd ordered 36 episodes they'd have 36 ready to air within a week of airing 34.

And something completely random that is actually more on-topic that the disucssion of how many episodes season 13 has... while checking out the European Pokemon.com sites to check their episode guides (all of which go up to 1308, which means they're probabably all pegged) it seems that they have Battle Dimension episodes available for streaming, also without a region lock like the US site.

So the UK isn't a good example to "they aired all eps yet didn't air the two additional eps!"
Also, the UK might purposely delay these two eps airing from the same reasons US/Japan did

For your information, Finland hasn't finished season 13, or season 12 yet.
Season 13 have been avaible since 28th of February on Disney XD, and so far they have aired the first 25 episodes [with pretty odd order by the way] I don't know when they are going to air the rest 9.
Season 13 have been avaible also via MTV3's* [* MTV3 is the main non-pay channel which shows Pokémon] free net-tv service called Katsomo since 18th of April. So far 2 episodes have been shown. They upload 2 episodes per week. This means the season is gonna be finished roughly on the 8th of August, if they don't speed up.
12th season is currently airing in MTV3, so far 33 episodes have been shown. It is already known that the season will finish on 6th of August.

And since the first two episodes of Pokémon BW were shown as sneak peek on the 22nd and 25th of April, it is assumed that the Black and White season will fully premiere on the 13th of August in MTV3.

Speaking about other European countries, I do know that Germnay have been finished 13th season a while ago, and they are going to start BW on 1st of May.
I'm not pretty sure about Sweden [Would some Swede correct me if I'm wrong, please?], but so far, they have shown 41 episodes of 12th season, 22 episodes of 13th season and 1st episode of 14th season these weren't aired in Disney XD though, but their own local channel TV4, and their own net-tv service TV 4 Play.
I do not know about the state of other Nordic countries though.

As far as I know, at least UK and Italy are going to start the 14th season in mid-summer [?] But it seems that most European countries will start the 14th season during Autumn [August~October] 2011, so I assume that most countries are either showing 13th season, or are airing repeats of it.

And also, it seems that are all have been airing/aired only 34 episodes, regardless of the channel.

As for the number of episodes. Best wait till the site updates. There's no way of knowing till the site updates with said extra episodes.

I do think that it's better this way, because usually we need to wait over a year 'til the newest season in the US premieres here. [Otherwise we would have waited 14th season pretty pretty long, since only 1 episode is aired per week in MTV3 [although they are going to speed up in summer] I'm actually pretty pleased that MTV3 decided to put 13th season in Katsomo, so we can get 14th season quicker!

But I agree that I pity our Swedish neighbours. They have totally mess with the seasons, all airing at the same time [and now they are going to start airing the BW season too..when they are going to finish the rest?] and besides, Pokémon is aired 7:10am there, that's way too early :,D

Disney XD in Finland is totally mess too, by the way. They have pretty odd order with the episodes, they change the airtime every single time and they have sudden breaks, then they air new episode or two out of nowhere. This is why I don't actually like to watch Pokémon from XD - at least MTV3 has the right order and airs them when they are supposed to air, also makes nice edits like episode titles in Finnish, and has pretty unnoticeable logo, unlike Disney XD. [but they haven't been that great in the past, I can tell you, skipping episodes until season 7 and stuff...]
I don't know what is wrong with XD here. It might be because Pokémon in Disney XD is considered here as just "one extra channel" which shows Pokémon just couple of months or so earlier than MTV3. The main channel of Pokémon is still MTV3.
Disney XD have been shown 11th, 12th and 13th seasons, and also movies 10-12. I mainly watch it if I want to see some episodes earlier, or movies, since it's the only place you can watch them. [Since MTV3 have been only shown movies 2, 3 and 10, and we have only movies 1-7 avaible as DVD. 8th or 9th have never aired here, and 5th~7th movies had different dubbers from the actual series, and the result was the worst you can imagine.]

And I got new information. It seems that Norway is in the same pace as us, since they have shown 33 eps of 12th season in TV2. However, they have shown 27 episodes of 13th season already, and just like with Finland and Sweden, are showing it via their net-tv service Sumo TV.
Still don't know about Denmark though.
