Seems like there is no topic for this yet.

It was quite interesting with an interview with Masuda and Omori from Game Freak and they had DP Anime dub previews.

Also very interesting is that one of the D/P games on stage must have been some kind of developer version:

Infinite Levels!

Agreed 100%; I mean, what was wrong with the Japanese logo? It was already in romaji to begin with; all they had to do was remove the Katakana from underneath the word "Revolution". Just goes to show that NOA's localization team is stuck with the notion that nobody will recognize anything as Pokémon unless it has that babyish relic of the late '90s plastered on it.

However, the cheap, rushed look of this logo suggests that it may (hopefully will) change for the final release, if only the position/coloring of the words "Battle Revolution".

Argy - Just some basic questions about how they make the games, what was the most difficult thing to implement (answer: the wifi), how did they think of some of music.

Honestly, other than the interviews with Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Omori, it was really corny, goofy, though also hilarious. I thought after the 10th Anniversary deal in Bryant Park where they had Hulk Hogan, that it couldn't get any goofier and I was severely wrong.

Ugh, I'm so glad I didn't go. I watched for a half hour with a trivia contest and the 2nd Wifi Battle (that didn't work), and it looked awful.

That lady dressed as Hikari, why didn't she do her hair like Hikari too? It's incredibly easy as I do it all the time. You just need a rubber band and two clips... and long hair.
I prefer my Hikari outfit
About the Pokemon logo, you guys complain too much. If anything, they could make the logo look more modern and add gradients to it like they did with Pocket Monsters' logo.

I would make a fairly safe bet that the woman really didn't want to dress up as Hikari that day. Also I import so I have no problem with many of the English logos (to give a different opinion)

The first and last time I watched the web cast was for Pokemon Day in August. It sucked. They kept showing everything over and over and over and over and over again. The quality stunk and I didn't even get to Hulk Hogan's sudden Pokemon obsession. However, Webster's defines the word "Pokemoniac" as getting paid to be a pokefan.

I was there for some of it. Must admit I was amused by the obvious nose job Dawn had and the WAAAAAY too young Prof. Rowan, but the best part was when they interviewed Wobbuffet. He spoke Wobba language for ten minutes then the creators were asked what he said. Their translation? Sonansu.

You mean me and The Great Butler had a chance to meet face-to-face and we didn't take advantage of it!?

As I posted on my website, I couldn't be bothered to wait in the 800 lines to get into the tented area, especially with the Kinukuniya store right down the street.

does anyone know where to find video footage of the days events at the Rockerfeller Centre?
I have a good, full capture of the 300k stream, but it is 708 MB in size (5 hours long, with the first 40-50 minutes being just a still picture and some camera tests). I'm not sure if I want to share it and if I did, I wouldn't know where to upload it.
It wasn't all that great anyway. The only real things of interest are the interview, which I already uploaded in full, and the anime dub preview.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

We probably saw each other and paid it no mind ^_^ If you saw someone rather tall and thin mugging for the camera with the Dialga and Palkia balloons, that was me.

I got in because I got there early. I arrived around 11ish, went in the store and bought a Mantyke plushie after looking around a bit, then went to eat at a McDonald's a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, and returned for the festivities after that.

I swear Dawn had a nose job.

Dogasu...did you see that horrific Jessie cosplayer? The one with the rubber beer gut? I SWEAR I saw him at JAA last year in the same costume...
