Pokemon Crime Fighters

This has been bugging me for a while. We know that pokemon police officers(Jenny) mainly use Growlithe and Arcanine as their partners, but what about the rest of the police force?

My main question is what pokemon would be best for CSIs? I'm a Forensics student so this field is really fascinating to me, so I'm trying to merge my two passions

Any thoughts?

I reckon having an Alakazam or a Noctowl would really help out CSIs...provided they could speak Human. Hey, if Meowth can do it, so can an Alakazam.

Lucario, because it can use its Aura abilities to sense aura from suspects and see if any piece of evidence has the same aura as any of the suspects.

Psychic Pokemon I guess. Espeon could work best.

Celebi. Time travel. Too easy.
...Of course, If we're limiting this to non-legendaries, I'd say maybe Butterfree, given how it can emit powder. Might help with getting fingerprints.

Steel Pokemon would be good for attacking criminals while shielding against gunfire.

I say Hoothoot/Noctowl and Abra/Kadabra/Alakazam

Psychic Pokémon primarily. Then there are others I think could be useful. Zubat/Golbat/Crobat, for example. Or any Pokémon that can learn Supersonic, for that matter. Pokémon like Jumpluff for collecting fingerprints. Perhaps Porygon. And a strong Pokémon to help with any physical works.
