Pokémon Crystal Help Please

Hey everyone,
recently i started to play pokémon crystal again,
Today i got my second badge and noticed "Bugsy" had a sycther,
and i was wondering where can i get one, because i use to have one from silver
which i caught in the safari zone but i was told that is not in crystal,

They are rare like Pincer are. Good luck finding them. I recommend saving right before the contest and keep retrying until you catch one.

Yeah, you can get one in the bug-catching contest in the national park... I don't remember much but it shouldn't be too hard I think... That or I'm luckier than what I thought... (I only played that contest once anyways...)

They won't be at a high level (10-15 or something) so don't use a lv.20 Quilava for it...
