Pokémon Crystal: Just got stuck at Mahogany Town.

I'm very ill at the moment and I've dragged out my old Pokémon Crystal for the GameBoy Colour.

Done so well s'far with my Quilava getting nice and strong.

But Mahogany Town is proving to be a bit tricky.

I've captured the Red Gyarados, got the Red Scale and spoke to Lance.

Yet the guard at Pryce's gym still tells me to go sightseeing north of the city at Lake Rage, despite the fact I have already done all that is to be done there.

What am I missing out on?

it's been a while since i completed crystal, so i got it out, and you know the place in Mahagony that sells RAGECANDYBARS? they have a secret stairway that leads to a rocket hideout. i just can't remember how to unlock the stairway, so maybe it's in the building? i hope it works. if you needs any more help, PM me, and i will. good luck.
