EVERYONE: - Ongoing Pokemon destiny redefined

Prologue.

The years have moved on, the world of pokemon as known by many years ago has since been buried under a now outrageous feud between the now outnumbering teams which although all quest to awaken legendaries all endeavour to capture different ones.

The war began years ago with Team Aqua and Team Magma. Team Aqua and Magma while in some ways similar were unbelievably different. Team Aqua wished to awaken Kyogre, the legendary master of the ocean and use it to lead the creatures of the sea into a war with the creatures of the land. The defending land monsters where led by Groudon, the pokemon Team Magma quested to own. This war waged through the ages until eventually Groudon and Kyogre fought to a stalemate and where both placed into a deep sleep to which they where never supposed to awaken.

For years these 2 teams came close to their respected goals however whenever 1 team got anywhere near success the other would intervene and crush there plot. For a long time the 2 fought with nothing else to worry about.

Until team twilight emerged from the skies. Team Twilight was lead by an aging man named Maximal. His goal was to track down the legendry Rayquaza, the dragon king. Maximal used his growing fortune to first buy the services of mercenaries to help him. He attired his soldiers in a black jumpsuit and a fusca cape with the face of a dragon on the back. Once his mercenaries began to reach public eyes many joined his team to find Rayquaza and soon they became a force formidable enough to contest with team Aqua and Magma. Eventually twilights goals began to change and Maximal decided he needed to capture the other 2 legendary dragon pokemon Latios and Latias.

And as if that wasn’t enough…. There’s more.

Team Regirocket where a short-lived group of young hellions backed as a sub group from the Kantos regions Team Rocket. They where the best of the best sent out to capture the 3 regi’s (rock ice and steel). This team attired themselves in the classic rocket uniform however where once a singular R doned the front of their uniform another R mirrored the original one to represent “regi.” Once team Magma found about them they decided they weren’t going to allow any more competition to take over Hoenn and so they confronted team Regirocket. At first it was nothing more then a battle until an enraged Magma camerupt fired a powerful fire blast attack at the regirockets burning the team to a crisp. After this Giovanni pulled the plug on operation Regi.

In other places team twilight was becoming to large a team to be stealthy, therefore Maximal ordered the team to be split in half renaming half of the team “Team Enigma.” Team Enigma was sent to discover the location of the best described “underestimated” legendaries, these being Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi. Although these 3 are powerful there small size made many consider them less then a threat. There attire was a simple jumpsuit with a question mark on it.

While Magma and Aqua and Twilight’s bickering became more well known a small gathering of bird type lovers used this to their advantage. First appearing in the year 2010 “team Air” where first seen as a team only out to stop the other 4 raging teams from gaining the legendary pokemon. After almost 2 years team air convinced the pokemon league that they needed to capture at least 1 legendary bird pokemon to destroy the raging war between Magma, Aqua, Twilight and Enigma*.

After a while the Pokemon league agreed and sent some of their best officers with team air to Mt Ember, believed to be the home of Moltres. After much effort the legendary bird of fire was caught and given to Team Air. It was at this time that TA revealed themselves to be evil and murdered the pokemon league officials sent to help them capture Moltres with the bird of fire itself.

Now, using Moltres’s power team air fused the 3 regions together into one super region known only as Oran. Team air were able to terrorise the world with Moltres for a long time however were unable to ever find the other 4 birds eventually in an attempt to take team air down Aqua and Twilight joined forces in a short lived alliance. This prompted Magma to come to the aid of Air and form an alliance still strong today. The combined powers of these 2 teams where more then a match for the Aqua Twilight alliance and it wasn’t until a mysterious man who had managed to “capture” the legendary Mew arrived that, with the help of Twilight and Aqua was destroyed.

After this Maximal decided to eliminate team enigma, finding it impossible for him to ever wish to capture Mew after it had helped them defeat Moltres. The strange man eventually turned out to be a ditto under control of Mew who had once again vanished after the battle was complete. Now 5 evil teams had emerged and had grown to an extent that the remaining good citizens where forced to flee their homes and head into an underground society. Eventually Aqua and Magma discovered how to awaken Groudon and Kyogre and the 2 actually worked together to capture the 2 waring legends. However after this the alliance fell again.

Now 3 of the teams had a powerful legendary to help them in there exploits. Things looked bad for the rest of humanity and team twilight now stood no chance to fight them until sightings of Latios where reported in the Oran region. Maximal posted men in every town, in ever direction until one of his officers spotted the dragon. Soon Twilight where all over the scene and battling with Latios until Team Air interrupted and in an attempt to capture Latios for themselves attacked with a fire blast. It was at this exact moment that Maximal had thrown a pokeball and captured the dragon pokemon. Ashamed by actually helping their enemy’s team air retreated from the scene quickly.

Eventually Team Enigma took on the name Team Psy after Maximal heard about Mewtwo and Deoxys there clothes stayed the same however they now searched for the green gem which held Deoxys in another world. In a chance to boost his forces Maximal formed an alliance between Team Psy and Twilight to make them stronger.

Now the common decent man had fled to the orange islands where they had hoped to stay away from the waring teams. However they soon discovered by the various teams and ordered to conscript in a team or be killed. This lasted until the year 2013 when suddenly Celebi, Mew and Jirachi appeared in the centre of the town. With the help of the townspeople they where able to drive team Air, Magma, Aqua, Twilight and Psy away. Eventually after the battle was one Mew, Celebi and Jirachi took aside one man, a man who they had chosen as a leader. They explained to him that a war was coming between the 5 teams and his fellow outcasts. He warned him not to tell anyone else because it would create massive fear and confusion. He was instructed to inform them the war was over and they had given the Oran region to the teams in order to keep their safety. He was then told to set up gyms like in the previous regions however there will only be 5, one to represent each team in the Oran region, water, fire, wind, psychic and dragon. If a trainer were to collect these 5 badges he would have to defeat a new elite 4. If anyone were victorious they would then be accepted into the army to fight the teams.

The 3 legends said time would be slowed on the island so people would age slowly and have more time to gather an army big enough to destroy the teams. Before they disappeared they offered 4 gifts to the Man, they brought forward Regirock, ice and steel and posted them on the outer ends of the island facing the Oran region and told the man they were to defend them. Finally they left him with a small glowing green gem and told him when the time came he’d know what to do with it. Then they disappeared.

So now 5 years have past, it’s the year 2018 and many young trainers aspire to become pokemon masters and unknowingly enter the army to fight the teams. The original 9 starters (from Johto, Kanto and Hoenn) are chooseable and the leading researcher is Professor Oak with assistance from Professor Elm and Birch.

*Sidenote: nobody knew at this time that Enigma and Twilight where both working for Maximal

Okay some of you from serebii may have seen this story a year or so ago well my muse came back so i started redoing please reveiw and enjoy i've got about 10 chapters written up already

okay well its been a few days and no ones reply so i'm gonna post the first chapter, please r&r people.


Chapter 1 attempted Intruder.

Craig sighed as he lay back on the grass looked down upon by the great Registeel. He found the spot under the lumbering steel legendary a nice place to think with the ocean clearly visible beyond his sight. He knew from his a history class lecture that beyond the sea was Oran, the region that had been overtaken by the waring teams of evil in search of legendary pokemon. However the leaders of the orange islands had given up Oran to keep the Orange islands free from their grasp.

The Regis were forms of protection for the island inhabitants, Regirock, ice and steel guarded the orange islands from any chance of an oncoming attack. Craig had at times tried to communicate with Registeel but it only at best responded with a low rumbling grunt so a while ago he had given up.

Today he was to begin his quest to become a pokemon master, Craig loved grass pokemon and this was obvious by his clothing. He wore a green shirt with the 3 starter grass types and there various evolutions surrounding the grass symbol with a pair of dark green tracksuit pants.

On his head he wore a green bandana with a leaf stone on the front above his forehead. Normally he would also be wearing his pea green jacket however in the warm summers day he had no need to. For weeks he had been pondering which grass starter to pick however was nowhere closer to a decision then ever before. His thoughts where interrupted however when he felt a set of vines wrap around him and pull him backwards.

He turned in midair to see a pokemon that looked like a bowl of blue noodles pulling him backward Craig smiled and lowered his shoulder barging into the grass type. He smiled as the two began to wrestle. Tangela was actually his mothers pokemon however over the years Tangela and Craig had grown very close. His mother often used Tangela to run errands for her.

The 2 continued to wrestle until Tangela suddenly stopped and looked towards the ocean. In the distance a large blue figure quickly seam through the sea. Craig knew from his history lectures that this was Kyogre and that team Aqua had captured this pokemon long ago. The closer it came Craig soon realised a woman with red hair was riding the beast. Suddenly the pokemon stoped and leant back. Its mouth seemed to glow a light blue and then suddenly a beam of ice was fired towards registeel.

Craig panicked and would have been destroyed if not for Tangelas vines pulling him away from the attack. After the attack had struck the ground seemed to have been frozen. “Ice beam.” Craig muttered as he turned to suddenly see two large glowing figures appear before him. Regirock and Regice now stood next to Registeel. The three each placed their hands together and suddenly a yellow ball appeared and began to spark. The three let out a howl and fired of a series of zap cannons. Kyogre tried to dodge the attacks and managed to miss one however two managed to hit it.

It reeled back and fired its strongest attack. Suddenly its mouth gushed with water Craig gasped at the sight “WATER SPOUT!” He yelled as the 3 Regis suddenly glowed a dim grey. “Iron defense.” Craig said with a smirk. The three then placed their hands in front of their faces looking almost like a prayer and created three powerful beams of light. “HYPER BEAM!” Craig yelled cheering them on. The three beams connected and Kyogre fell from the sky. The woman suddenly grabbed a pokeball from her belt and threw it at the ocean. A Gyarados appeared after a flash of white light and caught the woman who hooked on a mask and then dove underwater.

Nothing moved for several minutes until suddenly a pink pokemon floated past. It had a long tail bigger then its body and it placed it onto Regice and Regirock and moments later they disappeared. Craig felt his voice go numb “Mew?” He managed to whisper out. The small pink pokemon turned to the source of the voice and suddenly vanished.

Tangela suddenly leapt up to Craig and handed him a note, it was his mother telling him to come home. Craig started to run, he had to tell Professor Oak what he had seen. Tangela bounced along behind him.

The prologue and chapter are good in terms of action and some story development, but you really need to work on basic sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar.

For example:
"The years have moved on, the world of pokemon as known by many years ago has since been buried under a now outrageous feud between the now outnumbering teams which although all quest to awaken legendaries all endeavour to capture different ones."

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If you're translating a foreign language into English (which is what you seem to be doing), you might need a beta-reader for your fic, if only to make it intelligible.

Chapter 2: Whom’d I pick now?????

Craig was now running faster then he ever had before. He had just witnessed a member of team Aqua attempt to invade the orange islands, the three regi’s defeating it, Kyogre and Mew all in less then five minutes! He passed by the gates into his hometown, Pecha town. He ran past the town pokecentre and mart and straight through to the lab where Tangela had said his mother would be. It was always strange that Tangela could always sense where his mother was…

He busted through the doors to find his mother and Professor Oak waiting in front of three different desks. The first one had two fire starters Torchic and Cyndaquil, the second desk had three grass types, and Chickorita, Bulbasaur and Treeko the last desk had only one water type Totodile. His mother was standing behind the grass types; she knew he would pick one of them.

Craig’s mouth began before he even realised “Oak! Mum Team Aqua, Mew! Regi’s” the words didn’t seem to trigger any response in them. His mother placed a hand on his shoulder and pressed him down onto a chair.

“Craig calm down, remember your adventure starts to day pick a starter.” She said as he shot back up

“Treeko, now can you listen to what I saw out by the….” He was interrupted by the pokeball being shoved in his face. He stared up at Oak as the ball dropped into his hand

“here you go Treecko and some pokeballs and a pokedex.”

Craig looked shocked as his mother moved forward and hugged him gently. She took a pokeball from her belt and recalled Tangela “here honey.” She said handing it to him along with a pokenav “now get going!” She yelled as he was pushed out the door. Outside Craig stared at the handful of pokestuff thinking he had missed something. Inside Professor Oak sighed as his mother grabbed a lab coat from the rack “that was close he almost found out about.” She began but trailed off knowing Craig may still here them.

Eventually Craig stepped forward and headed towards route one. He looked at his pokenav and realised he had a video message from his dad. The screen opened it to show a recording of his father outside a contest house.

“Hey there Craig I’m competing in Chesto city if you wish to come see me.” The message ended. Craig looked down at his pokenav to see that Chesto city was the closet town, after a close inspection he realised that there wasn’t a gym on new island. He would have to travel to Rawst town and catch a fiery over to Hamlin Island, home of the water gym in Aspear city. He sighed as he realised how far he was from a gym and walked onto route one.

Sighing Craig suddenly realised he had his starter pokemon. He released Treecko from its pokeball and stared curiously at the creature. He proceeded to slice a twig from a branch and put it in his mouth. He looked it over as it stared up at him Craig eventually bent down and extended a hand to the little gecko who seemed less then impressed by the sight “HI” the Treecko spun and hit Craig’s hand away. Craig was shocked by the disobedience his first pokemon was showing and quickly recalled it before walking on.

Eventually Craig stopped for a rest against a large tree when suddenly a sandshrew popped up in front of them the sandshrew loomed forward to attack Craig. Craig quickly released Treecko who hit it in the head with its tail.

“Back off you simpleton!” Came the shout from behind him. Craig turned to see a boy in an expensive looking suit standing behind him the sandshrew leapt to his side. “This pokemon was very expensive don’t touch it.” The boy walked closer and glared at Craig “I challenge you to a double battle.” The boy took another pokeball from his belt and released a Ralts.

“I’m going to be the greatest double battler ever!” He announced Craig looked at him strangely “Okay…” Craig said releasing Tangela. Tangela looked around a little confused at first however when she saw Treecko she nodded and moved next to it ready to battle. The boys pokemon stared back at Craig’s as the other child started the fight.

“Sandshrew use mud slap, Ralts use confusion!” he commanded. The sandshrew leapt into the air and slapped forward a wave of sticky mud at the 2 grass types. Treecko leapt to the side however the attack hit Tangela.

“Tangela grab Sandshrew with your vines. Treecko…wait, what attacks do you know?” He asked this made the other boy laugh however Treecko only sighed. The frustrated wood gecko ran forward and tried to smash Ralts on the head with its tail however the Ralts still hadn’t fired its confusion. As Treecko moved closer Ralts finally let loose the attack catching Treecko and throwing him across the field. The other boy smirked as Craig began to loose control of the battle. “Treecko please get up.” Treecko rose to his feet and charged for Ralts again this time with a quick attack.

“Use reflect.” Suddenly a barrier appeared before Treecko who crashed into an invisible wall. Meanwhile Tangela had managed to wrap Sandshrew in its vines however it used a slash attack to free itself. Tangela leapt back in pain and stepped on Treecko’s tail. Treecko turned and thwacked it with pound attack inalterably sending the vine pokemon towards Sandshrew and Ralts.

“Um quick stun spore!” Shouted Craig at Tangela as he saw Treecko charge up towards the two with a quick attack. The stun spore attack hit paralysing the two enemy pokemon however the other child smirked. “Now! Facade!” He yelled as the two pokemon fired a powerful attack at Treecko and Tangela. After the dust had cleared Treecko and Tangela where visible face down in the ground. Craig ran to there side and hugged them close. “There there you guys did great.” He said knowing now he had to get to a pokemon centre.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” The boy said coming up behind Craig “I won, Markus will be the greatest doubles champion in the whole world!” He announced as he quickly left. Craig scooped up the grass types and ran for the next town now defenceless from wild pokemon attacks.
