First off, wrong section(It doesn't really matter because I know you're new, just take note of it next time). Secondly, Here is a thread you can look at. It is one way to get shinies. Another way is to get them randomly from the wild, but this is completely random, and the chances are like 1/8134 or something, so you may want to try the other way. Lastly, feeding poffin to a pokemon doesn't affect whether it is shiny or not.
