Pokemon Diamond/Soul Silver/Black Help

Remember me? No? Good, you shouldn't - I haven't posted in over two years, man time flies. This isn't some "I'm back for good!" thread, just a thread were I ask a few questions. Anyways, after years of playing Pokemon I've recently realized I never took the franchise as seriously as I could have; so I'm going through every Pokemon game and I'm finally going to try to catch 'em all. (Or at least as much as I can.)

Diamond

I've got a big problem - I don't where to go next. I defeated Candice and I'm supposed to go to Lake Acuity to help Barry fight Jupiter, but she's not there and Barry tells me to go to SunnyShore, but it's still blocked off.

I'm all crazy on Natures or anything like that, I just want beat the Elite Four, I should be good on my own after that. We'll see.

Just like before, after the Elite Four, N ,Ghetsis - I should be fine. I also need a nickname fore my Vanilluxe, I feel for bad for not giving her one this whole time. :c

You have to defeat Team Galactic and capture or defeat Dialga at Spear Pillar on top of Mt.Coronet before going to Sunyshore City.

^But that's after you find Barry and Jupiter. And after you visit the Galactic HQ in Veilstone City.

Did you first go to Lake Valor and Lake Verity to fight Team Galactic there? You were supposed to go to Valor first and battle Saturn, then go to Verity to find Lucas/Dawn and battle Mars. This is all I can think of if you're sure you didn't already find Barry in Lake Acuity.

After you visit all three lakes and beat Candice, you go to the Galactic HQ in Veilstone, free the mirage trio (Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie), THEN you head up Mt. Coronet and go to Spear Pillar.

For your Soulsilver team, have you considered the Extremespeed Dratini you get at the Dragon's Den after defeating Clair? Alternatively, you can catch a Larvitar in the Safari Zone. That is, if you don't mind level grinding considerably to catch them up with the rest of your team.

And like Kelleo said, you have to do the Lake Valor and Lake Verity events before you can reach Lake Acuity. If you've already defeated Candice, that's all I can think of that you're missing.

Ah, yeah, that Dratini could be useful when trained up, though I didn't use it. If I were you, I'd level up Dewgong to lv. 47 so it learns Ice Beam. Trust me, this will help you heaps against Lance and his friggin' Dragonite.

I highly agree with the Dewgong thing. Also, why does your Ampharos still have Thundershock?

That's a good question. Teach it Thunderbolt or Shockwave.

And Crobat needs to dump Leech Life for Air Cutter (then replace Air Cutter with Air Slash later).
