The Kanto Region


Full of mystery and adventure. The Kanto Region features a variety of challenges for new Pokemon trainers and coordinators. From the frigid peak of Mt. Silver, all the way to Fuschia City, this region features many new Pokemon for you to meet. This region also features the rumored Pokemon Mew. Legend says all Pokemon were created from its DNA. People and Pokemon working together in battle as well as in life. Working and living together, we compliment eachother. However, there are som people who choose to harness Pokemon's power and use it for evil. This typer of hard abuse can only lead to a catastrophic outcome. A group of men and women clad in black and red clothing was spotted outside the Celadon Department Store. Their intentions ar unknown, but they are obviously up to no good. Where will you come in?​

Plot
In this RP we will take the role of a new Pokemon trainer/coordinator. We will all meet in Pallet Town, where Professor Oak, the local Pokemon expert, will give out Pokedexes and Pokeballs. He will NOT be giving out Pokemon. Therefore, you may have any Pokemon as a starter except for legendaries. You may also catch any Pokemon (Again except for legendaries) in the wild as long as their habitat is appropriate and they are not too strong. I will decide if that Pokemon is catchable at that point of the RP. I hope for this RP to get far, so please post adequately. Most of all, be logical, but be creative.

Appearance: John is very tall for his age standing at almost 6'4. He has a very muscular build and has short brown hair that is always spiked up in the front. He is very handsome, with chiseled features. John usually wears t-shirts and shorts, but sometimes he wears jeans. John owns only one pair of shoes, which are a pair of white and red high-tops. He likes to wear hats when he doesn't feel like fixing his hair. John likes to wear sweatshirts too. He usually keeps his Pokeballs in his pockets.

Personality: John is very bright and inteligent. John beleives that making the right choices is always the most important. He wants to be just like his dad when he grows up. He excelled in sports and academics, but was always very passive and shy.

History: (I don't have much to put) John was born and raised in Castelia City. The city was full of crime at the time, so John made sure he got out of there quick by getting a Munchlax and traveling to Kanto to go on his journey.

Name: Travis Kensington

Age: 13

Gender: Male

Appearance: Travis is about 5'4" with a slender build, having short brown hair, mostly hidden by the blue and black knit hat he wears, though his bangs are visible. He mostly has an affinity for the colors blue and black, often seen wearing a blue jacket with black lining and a black section on the middle of the sleeves, right over a black tshirt. He wears a pair of brown cargo pants and he also has a pair of blue and white shoes.

Personality: Travis, or as his friends call him, TK, is a tech geek and he is quite smart when it comes to technology, he does tend to get on others nerves when he goes into a techno rant or just being the tech geek he is. He's often friendly, though its quite easy to get on his nerves. He is a bit superstitious at times and he has a huge fear of ghost types and dark types. He also happens to a bit on the sensitive side.

History: Travis was born in Sunyshore City in Sinnoh, which was always a joy for him whether it was the beach or the tech savyness of the town. He grew up admiring the towns gym leader, Volkner. This was because he admired his knowledge in mechanics and such, as well as his skill in battle. He often spent time helping him with his various projects on the Sunyshore Gym. On his 12th birthday he recieved an Oshawott, though he was initially disappointed because he wanted to start out with a Pichu so he could someday have a Raichu like Volkner. He rejected the young Pokemon because he was not the Pokemon he had hoped he'd get, and though it really hurt Oshawott's feelings he stuck by Travis and always tried to earn his acceptance. One day, Travis was attacked by a wild and angry Drapion. He was poisoned by the Pokemon and slammed about in Drapion's grasp, but in his defense, Oshawott rescued him and fought off the Drapion. From that moment on, Travis had grown to respect his Pokemon and finally accepted him as a friend. He decided to head on down to the Kanto region to take on his first league with his Oshawott, though he still hopes to someday get a Raichu of his own.

Personality: A nature person, loves exploring new places. He is a very responsible kid for his age, always looking for those he likes and feels close to.

History: He was born in Pallet Town and has always been fascinated by pokemon. He feels the pressure to become champion at some point, because Pallet trainers are known to be super strong and many of them have become champions. His father works at Prof. Oaks lab in the breeding branch and her mom loves flowers and is always working on her garden.

History: A gift from his dad, X recived Pichu when he turned 10. X's Pichu knows the moves Volt Tackle and Reversal.

Personality: Noel is very friendly girl often dressing in blacks and blues. She enjoys manga and anime about vampires. She often blames herself for the suffering of others and even suffers from a inferiority complex saying that she isn't good enough to be a trainer. Despite this Noel means well and will put her life on the line for anyone she trusts. Noel prefers good natured loyal pokemon such as Lillipup

History: Noel is from the Unova region from Nuvema Town. Her parents mother is a cordinator inspiring her to become one her self. Her father died of cancer when she was five but she since got over that. As a gift her Mother gave her a Munna to start her journey.

Personality: She is kind and peppy, she enjoys dressing up weird each day, with her most normal being ^. She is a major shipper of people around her....be careful, she will not get off your back about it!

History: Lived on island with both parents, in Kanto

A petite young girl with long, medium brown hair. She usually wears a white, long-sleeve tee-shirt. She sometimes has her hair in a hair-tie, but not often she doesn't. She wears a flowing skirt, about half-way down to her knees. Her shoes are slip-ons that surprisingly don't come loose when she runs. Her eyes are a blue-purple.

Personality:
Yuki is a very shy person. She doesn't really talk to others much. When she gets to know people better, she has an amazing sense of humor. She is very sweet some times. She gets angry very easily, some people might say she has "anger issues".

History:
Yuki had just started her Pokemon journey, since her mother didn't think she would be able to handle traveling alone. She had had an Eevee ever since she was a little girl--about six years of age--and always loved them. She collected stones for a few years, and brought two of each with her on her journey, yet she brought three water stones. She admired Vaporeons for a long while and always wanted her Eevee to evolve into a Vaporeon, but the Eevee would always refuse to.

Name: Carrie Sanders

That's her face. Carrie also enjoys wearing semi-formal clothing with skirts. Her height is aroung 5'5".

Personality: While she has a bright face, she's actually very shy and has trouble interacting with people, mostly because she can't talk. It takes a huge amount of time to get friendly with people she's known for some time, but she's caring and willing to help those in need. She thinks a bit too much all the time and often gets lost in thought.

History: Lived in Hearthome City, Sinnoh, because of her mother's business in Contests. Carrie hadn't been able to speak since she was young, and can only communicate writing on paper. However, her pokemon (ralts) can read her thoughts, so she has no trouble giving out orders in battle. She loves to see how pokemon attacks can differ in contests and wants to learn more. She decided to travel to see all kinds of pokemon and experience battles as well as try become more outgoing than she currently is.

Name: Nathan Parker (sometimes goes by Nate)

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Appearance: Nathan is of average height for his age and of average build but, leaning towards the skinny side. He has straight brown hair that falls to just above his shoulders. Most people tend to view him as being handsome. He enjoys to wear the colors that match his favorite Pokemon type, ground. Usually wearing, brown pants or jeans with a earth-colored shirt. Shirts depending on the weather, sweater for cold, t-shirt for hot. He also has glasses that he reads with and he sometimes wears a scarf if its cold.

Personality: Nathan's personality has changed over time, what once was energetic and easily upset is now calm and collected. He rarely looses his temper or gets upset with people. He does exhibit some anti-social tendencies but, once people get to know him, they realized he's a nice guy. He sometimes appears bored but Pokemon training is his passion and he wouldn't want to do anything else. He believes its his job as a trainer to help whatever Pokemon he's training to reach its full potential.

History: Nathan was born and raised in Goldenrod City, Johto where his parents worked at the Magnet Train Station. He grew up with and became friends with the city's local Gym Leader, Whitney. He found his first Pokemon when he was 12, a Trapinch that had gotten lost and was wandering the alleyways of Goldenrod. Nathan always wanted to go on a Pokemon journey and when he reached the age of 14, his parents finally let him start his adventure in the nearby Kanto region. He hopes to become a gym leader one day, mastering his favorite type of Pokemon, ground.

Personality: Impatient and rude are two words people like to use when describing Delta. She get really annoyed by little thing easily and her favorite thing to say is I hate (Whatever is angering he this time).

History: She used to live in Pallet Town in Kanto when she was little, her dad was a strong trainer and had defeated the league, however he turned down the title of champion. One day he left. Without one word to her mom or even her. In her grief, her mom moved to Sinnoh and there they lived until suddenly her mom told her they were leaving for Kanto. She was angered by this (surprise, surprise) she wanted to start her journey with her friends in Sinnoh not in Kanto because it reminded her of her Dad. So immediately after she got to her old home in Pallet she acted meaner and grouchier then ever. A week after they arrived a pokeball came in the mail. It was addressed to her so she opened it, a pokemon appeared. A very fluffy mareep stood before her, there was no return address only a note attached to the pokémon’s collar. It said: From Dad. She decided to go on the journey anyway, but she promised to have a bad attitude.

All in one group? If other people have gotten to the point of moving on they may not like having to stay in the same place. Many of our trainers have different goals and require traveling with less people. Maybe you could concider pairing or grouping them up. Thank-you.
 
@Santa Trainer - can you give me a general outline on how RP works? I really want to join, but I don't want to write stuff in the wrong way. So I basically have to write a story along in my point of view? Do I have to think of a plot as well?
