Pokémon Dub Season 13 To Start This May/June?

Does anyone else think that the Pokémon dub Season 13 will start with EP624/622 {DP155} this May/June? There are a few possibilities why:

  • EP624, A Meteoric Experience, is the most recent episode that has been officially revealed to air on Cartoon Network. As the episode afterwards hasn't been revealed, it may meen they are waiting till the end of season 12.
  • EP624/DP156 ends with a sort of cliffhanger- Gible follows Ash, but we don't know whether he'll catch it. Therefore, an episode where Ash catches Gible would be an ideal start to a season.
  • Season 12 , Galactic Battles, reaches it's 51st episode with A Meteoric Experience. 52nd, if you count the unshown clipshow.

What does everyone think? Of course, this is just speculation...
 
I'm pretty sure it'll be 52 eps = include both Gible eps
There is a little chance it'll be 51 like Season 10 and end with the first Gible ep

How is there a little chance? When you think about it, there's a 50-50 chance it'll happen. They did the same sort of thing with Season 10 and Season 11- Ash got Chimchar at the end of S10, and the plot developed a little with S11. The same could happen here with Gible.
 
The season should start with DP158. I can't see how/why a season ends with Gible follows after Ash and Co.

Yes, but that doesn't explain why they didn't reveal the two Gible episodes in one go. If they were the last two episodes of the season, they would've revealed them together to get it over with. However, I doubt Season 13 will start till Black and White comes out...
 
The little guy being a season cliff hanger would be awesome.
 
I would've guessed that EP621 (DP155, Double-Time Battle Training would kick off season 13, but now, the Gible cliffhanger seems like the best transition.
 
I hope they'll include both Gible eps for the sake of other countries who get a year break between seasons... it's not that nice to see part 1 and wait a whole year for part 2
I don't care much myself since I watch all eps in Japanese and English before they air here... but I just think it's stupid to do that
So I hope it will be 52
Sure possible it'll be 51 like S10 but I hope it won't be like that

They won't make Season 12 more than 52 episodes... especially not until BW will start since that would make it almost 100 eps season which is double the usual amount

We had 3 recap eps by now and none of them was dubbed to English:
- AG: recap of Ash's Gyms and May's Contests (aired right before the GF)
- DP: recap of Ash and Dawn's Gyms/Contests/rivals and the group's Pokémon by that point (DP48, right before the Hearthome Contest)
- DP: recap of the Gyms/Contests again and preview of upcoming episodes (DP120, right before the switch to HD)
 
I think it's a highly plausible to happen. And a cliffhanger will be good for ratings. Not that it's any cliffhanger for us but... y'know.
 
I think the first episode of the new dub season will probably be the Magnezone one. A cliffhanger might be nice but I think a capture is a much better way to end a season

That would give Season 12 an additional 40+ episodes giving Galactic Battles close to 100 episodes. I doubt that would happen.
 
Pardon me for having a bad memory, but don't we usually hear of a new season beginning by now? My main concern is that there is not enough of Sinnoh left to make an entire season, and it will seem jarring once BW begins. (Not that that hasn't happened before in the past, but we have different dubbers now, that is irrelevant) I don't see a good solution for this, but we'll just have to wait and see how the dubbers resolve this. When they came up with the name for Season 12, I am convinced they knew that the Galactic finale would be in it. Not even the Japanese knew that at the time. Now I would definitely not condone the thought that we could have indications of BW in the dub, as it would be far too early for Americans to know this. (That have not searched the internet for it) It would be a promotional disaster. This is quite a crisis, and I'd hate to be them right now.
 
This topic came up on a forum I run, where someone said they will need a new season for the Zoroark movie, as no season has had more than 1 movie...to copy and paste my post there:

Well...each season is roughly 51 or 52 episodes. Galactic Battles began with DP105. Galactic Battles will last until at least DP156, giving it a total length of 51 episodes (DP156 is the last known episode with a dub title). Japan has up to DP177 announced, which will end the Grand Festival. That gap in itself gives 21 episodes, close to half a season. Japan also have yet to have Ash's 8th gym badge, and the Pokémon league, which can easily cover 30-31 episodes. That means there's another 19 episodes until the end of September; so if like E/DPt/HGSS, Black and White are going to be released in September, that could leave another dub season with 40 episodes. However, if Black and White are due out in November like GS/RS, that gives us another 28 episodes at most, bringing the episode count 49, which is closer to the standard 50. The Zoroark movie could tie into that season.

Although, remember that the Orange Island season was only 35 episodes long, Johto Journeys was only 40 episodes, Master Quest was a whopping 65, Advanced was only 40 episodes, and Battle Frontier was 46 episodes. So looking at that, even if Black and White are released around September, we can have another season.
 
Well, in that light, it may be sooner than I think. It only took them 4 months I think to dub Movie 12, so it is entirely possible America will see Z by the end of the year. But I do not expect anything fifth gen related before then for us.
 
It's about the right timing. I figured season 13 would have to be soon, or the Zoroark movie would have no theme music to play.

The U.S. will probably get the Zoroark movie around November/December. Even if season 13 begins on May 8th (the week after the speculated last episode of season 12 airs) it will still take 27 episodes to get to point where Japan is in the anime when they receive the movie, which will bring the U.S. airings into November. However, it wouldn't surprise me if they delay it until December, so Cartoon Network can air it as a Christmas thing.
 
Well, I did a little research, and America was made aware of HG/SS two weeks before it's JP release. Mind you, they did not follow up on that for months. Maybe not until January, if memory serves. I am looking into that way too much, though. We will only know what's going on until something tells us what the rest of May has in store for us.
 
I'm undecided on anything having to do with the subject matter except for one thing. I understand what you are saying, but it is ambiguous to me what I am to reply because I cannot comprehend what the question is asking.. Poor me.... Unless it means that a new English theme song is going to appear featuring a new season in May/June I am lost. If that is it, Gible was a big cliffhanger.
