Pokemon Episodes That You Like/Dislike that are Unpopular/Popular

[Misty Calls Masquerain]

I like:

The Kangaskhan Kid (it was just so out there)
Grin to Win (too many people find it boring but it's not)
The Kanto League (all episodes; Richie was at least not Tobias or Cameron)
The Grass Route (it had a relatable moral that actually seemed to stick for a while; pride goes before the fall)
Ruin With A View (this seems to be overshadowed by the previous episode for some reason)
Beach Blank Out Blastoise (this isn't one of the better received Kanto episodes)
In The Pink (almost no one talks about this)

I dislike:

The Sinnoh League (used to be more unpopular back then) - Both
For the Love of Meowth (just boring) - Dub
Strategy Begins At Home (A lot of people liked it because of Dawn vs. Johanna, but I didn't, nothing else happened) - Both (mostly dub because of that one line)
The Beeheeyem episode from DA! (It was wacky just for the sake of it, not because it improved the episode) - Sub
Noodles Roaming Off (Cathcart was terrible, the breakup was lame) - Dub
Gotta Catch Ya Later after Misty and Brock are gone; nothing else really keeps me interested) - Both
The Summer Camp Arc

The only I dislike about the normal English intros they had to tied the meloletta and Dawn saga in rival destinies and the songs not my type but Japanese intros yes I like.

I too enjoyed most of the Johto filler-fest. There may be nostalgia involved there, but even now after all these years, Johto's fillers (and some of Kanto's and the Orange Islands) are the only ones of any saga that I really like or would want to watch again.

I dislike Sinnoh's fillers (and most other episodes of DP, it just wasn't my cup of tea), and I dislike nearly all Contest episodes, I've never cared for them, really.

I hate the tournement episodes of best wishes and the unova leauge was trash. The episodes from the original series that annoyed me usally johto fillers with cotds that annoyed the heck out of me (like the dunsparce episode, the good quil hunting episode, that pidgy episode).

I'm pretty sure almost all of us agree that was the worst League in the whole anime. Definitely a popular series of episodes to dislike.

I dislike:

Strategy Begins At Home (A lot of people liked it because of Dawn vs. Johanna, but I didn't, nothing else happened) - Both (mostly dub because of that one line)

"Nathaniel reminds me of me!"

It will forever go down as one of the worst lines in the English dub for me.

 

[Winterdaze]

I really really enjoyed that episode where a Sentret and Togepi take over Team Rockets Arbok tank and then a whole bunch of weird shit happens. I just always see it written off as yet another Johto filler where Togepi wanders off, but the sequence of events that follow are so batshit insane that I can't help but love it.

Pretty much like all of these. The two above are hands-down the BEST episodes of Team Rocket in AG I saw, and why they left a pretty decent mark on me in terms of actually being funny. James' meltdown in that cave, to Jessie insisting she had a Silcoon...most hilarious episodes I've seen of Team Rocket yet.

That was one of the only DP fillers I liked.

Second BW episode because I like BWS1 in the dub and sub. "Explorers of the Hero's Ruins!" because of Zagnit's return, and that's it.

 

[Hidden Mew]

I enjoy a good portion of the Johto filler episodes like the ones focused on Pidgey, the Pichu episode, the episode with Mareep, and the episode with Houndoom helping Togepi. Most of the Johto fillers range from decent to great for me and I have seen most of them in recent years. I can understand why some of them wouldn't be appealing, especially when there are a lot of mediocre filler episodes too, but most of them are pretty enjoyable for me.

 

[The Power of Pika]

I like the episode with the fat pidgey, the episode with the Magikarp where Tracey and that weird researcher was studying their migration path, training episodes in DP and BW, tournament episodes which includes the league, the odd comedy episode that are bizarre like the Rotom episode of DP or the Primeape episode of kanto, Strategy begins at home and most sinnoh and Kanto episodes in general.

I also like any episodes that focus on backstory and I like my most favourite arc of the whole series is the summer school episodes of DP.=3

As for anything else. Well I don't really dislike many episodes. Any others just land in the least liked category.

- Also like that one with Tracey getting a good deal of focus. Good OI episode.
- I hate those training episodes myself...that's one of the things I absolutely despise about the newer seasons. xD.
- Yup, I always like the League and Tournament episodes. That's when I like to see the battles.
- I liked the Rotom episode. One of the best fillers in DP.
- I liked the Primeape episode. Hilarious!
- I hate "Strategy Begins at Home!" That line...that line! -_-
- I'm mixed myself. I liked some of the Summer School episodes, but disliked others. It was one of the better things about DP series for me, though.
- Didn't like the Prima episode in OI or "Brave the Wave!" in Hoenn either. Ash was just a jerk in the latter, and annoying in the former, IMO.

I like:

A lot of the Jotho fillers. Come on. They were great. As to why everyone dislikes them so much is literally beyond me. The Jotho fillers were really a lot of fun, so what? I mean, yeah, there were...a lot of them, and some of them were boring, but not all of them were boring! I really liked the ones where they were centered around Pokemon and not Ash--those were great.

What I dislike:

Obviously the Sinnoh fillers. I know, this might be a terrible thing to say, but all the Sinnoh fillers were just crappy and in the way. Then again, I hated the Sinnoh Saga from the beginning.

 

[Dr. Buni]

I like:

Most of the first 84 Best Wishes episodes. You can hate the Best Wishes series all you want, but the first part of it was way more enjoyable than DP (DP was only good in regards of gym and rival battles, to be honest). The humor was great and I really enjoyed the rival characters, specially Kenyan and Langley! Not to mention that Iris and Dent are great companions. Besides that, I love the OS episodes, even with the crappy battles full of BS. It seems that I have a preference for series that have a higher amount of humor. ^^

I dislike:

The Johto, Sinnoh and Unova fillers. They were terrible in all of these series, although I do think that the Johto ones were a bit less tedious. The Satoshi vs Shigeru battle wasn't that great and it baffles me when people compare it to the Satoshi vs Shinji battle in the Sinnoh league. Also, not an episode, but I don't think the first movie was that good... As far as Original Series movies are concerned, I vastly prefer the third and fourth over the first.

I didn't like the Team Galactic arc at all. It didn't matter what happened during the episode, since at the end a Galactic exec would just declare "Our plans are foiled, but it doesn't matter anyway!" That's ignoring how most of the rest of the episodes seemed to involve everyone standing around staring at Golbat that apparently even the Champion can do nothing about
