Would love to see Ash catch a Tyrogue, maybe from an egg or his travels through Johto and evolve it into maybe a Hitmontop

James owns a Growlithe.
Not saying it precludes Ash from getting one given how little screen time it got, but let us not forget about Growlie.

I'm curious why you didn't include the Rhyhorn line and the Hitmon's as a possible Ash Capture. Not that I think either of them are likely to happen, but Ash does have history with those lines.

tbh, just forgot to include Rhyhorn. Hitmonlee seems more likely as well, considering the Hitmonchan vs Primeape rivalry (And even then, Hitmontop for Johto seems more likely than the other 2). And i also forgot James had a Growlithe.

Growlithe feels so much like an Ash pokemon, I hope he gets one.

If not, it would be neat for him to maybe get the Magby or Houndour lines for fire types at some point.

If Ash will capture many new Pokemon (which I doubt for some reason), I really he gets a Houndour. I always wanted him to get the Houndour from Hour of the Houndour.

Gary has an Arcanine, Nidoqueen, and Nidoking, so Ash may not get those.

But Gary is a rival, not a companion (If that was the standard, Ash wouldn't have gotten Torterra and Staraptor back in Sinnoh).

Still, they didn't evolve Nyaheat till its defeat of Gaogaen.

I do wish Torracat had evolved earlier because we are so near the end of the series but I'm glad it fully evolved, I reckon Stoutland would be proud

I reckon I might like Rowlet a lot more if it had evolved.

Rowlet was my starter in Sun and Ultra Moon and it was a great Pokemon to have

When Ash, Gou and the new girl visit Alola, I'm hoping one of them might catch a Jangmo-o, plenty of Pokemon could be caught

Probably too much to hope but if they are travelling all regions, I hope that they get a full team of 6 Pokemon
