Hi! I am new to the forums and I want to make some friends :) I made a garden grotto forum but nothing is really happening there. SO I was just thinking I could chat you all up :-D

Pokemon X was my first Pokemon game so a lot of the basic concepts like what types are best against what and stats and that kind of thing I still do not quite understand. I did complete Pokemon X but I still no virtually nothing about the game. A lot of the TMs and items you get from people in the Pokecenter and in the houses I did not get because I did not realize you were supposed to stop in all the houses and talk to basically everyone :banghead:

ANYWAY, I completed Pokemon X (which was my first ever Pokemon game) and I do not have hardly any basic Pokemon knowledge. I remember when I started a lot of girls at school gave me some Pokemon and one gave me a eevee and told me about their eeveelutions and that's when my eevee obsession began. I bred eevees for a long time after I completed the game in a search for a shiny eevee. At first it was two eevees I caught in a friend safari, Then a eevee and a foreign eevee, and then I finally got a shiny flareon that i bred with a foreign flareon and FINALLY got a shiny eevee (literally got my shiny eevee like two days ago.) SO I am taking a break for a while. I have all the eeveelutions and I hope to someday to have all the eeveelutions in shinies as well.

So yeah long story short, Not much Pokemon expierence, total eevee freak.

My first Pokemon experience was fairly simple, a friend of mine had Gameboy Color with Yellow, he asked me if i want to play, and i played it all week, my team was just Pikachu and Poliwrath. I didn't knew anything about the type chart except for the obvious ones (like Water being strong against Fire), so i kept spamming the same attacks and hope to win. I also like Eeveelutions, specially Espeon, it's easily my favourite of them.

If you want send me a friend request and if you want to add my 3DS FC, go right ahead, i'm always available to chat.

Yes I know the obvious type strengths (Fairy to Dragon, Water to Fire, etc.) My stragedy when I was playing the story line was my strongest pokemon in my team. (My team was my Xerneas, My Delphox (or whatever the highest evolution of fennekin was. that was my starter) Noctowl, Venusaur, Blastoise, and Lucario (in that order too. it was highest level - to lowest level of my highest level pokemon. If that makes since) Now that I finished I have most of those in my battle box and only one in my team since I breed (I have to have room for those eggs!) My 3DS FC is in my signature as I see yours is too so I will add you there later!

You start "knowing" a lot about the games after you've played for a long time. I was a little kid when I played LeafGreen as my first game. Despite having a Pocket Pokedex (info on all Gen I-III Pokemon, where to find them, movesets, and how to evolve them) and plenty to read up on, I still ran about half-clueless for most of the game. Oh, and I was an Eevee freak too. My experience has grown, since Pokemon has occupied more than half my lifetime. Don't expect to "get" everything on your first game. :D

Yes I know... It's a game of expierence that's for sure. I have friends who have played for years at my school so if I get lost they have to explain what's going on xD

I started playing with Gen I (Red) way back in 1998. I didn't understand team building and tried to do everything with Charizard until I caught Articuno. I remember going up against the E4 with Charizard and Articuno leveled in the high 60s and 4 others in the mid to high 40s. It was a rough going, but I eventually completed it (with my level 44 Persian dealing the finishing blow to Blue's Blastoise).

I played the games up until Ruby, which I never completed, before going on an 8-year hiatus. I decided to check out White in the summer of 2011 and have been hooked again ever since.

I also like most of the Eeeveelutions, with Espeon being my favorite overall Pokemon. I don't have much use for Flareon and Glaceon, though.

I started with SoulSilver back in 2010. I started with Cyndaquil, and beat the game with just that and a hacked Mew (who has sadly perished because of the whole Poke Transporter thing. RIP) Ever since, I have loved Pokemon, especially Gen 5 and everything in it.

Oh, and @EeveeEmpire; You should buy Black and White for your next game in the series. X and Y is linked to it through Pokemon Bank, and the main problem people have with it, not knowing most of the Pokemon, won't be an issue. Please don't ask me for more advice though; I get irritated with newcomers sometimes (no offense intended; it is just my nature). But welcome to Pokemon! (Oh, and for the record, Leafeon and Jolteon are the best eeveelutions).

The General Pokemon Discussion is more for structured talk about the world of Pokemon or Pokemon as a franchise. Something like this would be better suited for blogs, since you already made an intro thread. Or if you are looking for free conversation, there's the Conversational Chat Thread and the Random Messages Thread.

I'll be closing this thread now.
