(Oak's lab; 10:00 am)

"Gosh, isn't anyone here yet? I would've thought more people would want to catch an opportunity like this. A choice of all the known starters. Geez, I know I'm going to pick Piplup!" Fire walked over to the lab, composed herself, and knocked on the door. After a few minutes, an aged man appeared at the door.

"Ah, you must be Fire. Are you here for your starter?"

"Yes sir! I already know I want Piplup! I KNOW I will be the best trainer ever!"

"Okay, okay, hold your horses. I'll get Piplup for you. I think you will fall in love with her." With that, Oak vanish intothe lab, only to reappear moments later with a black ball with a yellow stripe around it and red circles on the top. Fire graciously took the ball from his hands.

"Okay, Piplup, prepare for battle!" And with that, a little penguin popped out of the ball. "Umm, professor, is Piplup alright? She looks funny."

"Oh, I forgot to tell you; all the starters are of alternate color, or as some people say, 'shiny'. They are extremely rare."

"Wow! Hi Piplup! I'm Fire! I hope that one day we can become best friends-" Suddenly, a nose arose from the distance, a cloud of dust following it.

"Well, I think that might be the new trainers," exclaimed Oka happily.
 
Tristan came in through the door. "Uh, I'm here for my starter Pokemon," he said. Tristan gazed at the table, lined with 11 Poke Balls. He knew that there were 12 starter Pokemon total, but he noticed that one was missing. Looks like one of them got taken already, he thought.

Leana knocked on the door and peered in. She was nervous about meeting her first pokemon. Ever since she was attacked by a growlithe years ago, she had been sort of afraid of pokemon, but really wanted to do this. She wanted to go on an adventure with her friends. "Hello." Leana said shyly.

"Hello there." Oak said. "I guess you're one of the new trainers."

"Yes." Leana nodded. "My name is Leana, and I would really like a Mudkip. From what I've seen, they look like gentle creatures."

"Well here you go." Oak handed Leana a pokeball with a Mudkip inside.

"Thanks." Leana took the pokeball and ran back outside in nervous excitment.

OCC: Kinda like I did it. C'mon, please, for my sake, get the starters in the first post. Okay? PLEASE?
 
Lan ran to the proffesers lab, hoping nobody had took treeko yet. On his way, he saw a girl with an odd clored piplup. Lan knocked on the door and Oak answered.

"You must be Lan, i heard that you wanted treeko," Oak said. Lan wondered how he knew that, but then remembered his mother had been talkin on the phone last night.

"Ummm ya sir," Lan relied. He followed Oak and Oak handed him a pokeball. Lan sent out the treeako and realized it was shiny. "Sir, thats shiny!" Lan exclaimed.

"Yes yes i know," Oak replyed. He looked around for a miute and sat down. "Why dont you go talk to the girl with a piplup?" Oak asked.

"OK sir," Lan said. He ran outside and the girl with the piplup was there.
 
Maya strolled into the lab and up to the table holding the starters' Poke Balls. Whill some had already been taken, she looked each and every one of the orange sized balls over before grabbing one. "I'd like this one, please."

"A Squirtle--good choice." Prof. Oak beamed.

Maya then hurled the Poke Ball into the air. "Come on out!" she called, making a small light blue turtle with a vey faint blue glow appear.

"Squirtle!" the Squirtle smiled, playfully spritzing Maya.

"Yeah, I'm happy to see you too..." Maya giggled as she wiped the water from her eyes. "Now what should I call you...Mizu?" She yelped in surprise as another stream of water hit her face. "Okay, I'll take that as a no...Sprinkle?" Yet another stream of water hit her face. "Brenna?" she asked, bracing herself for more water.

"Squirtle!" The Squirtle seemed pleased with this name.

"Okay, Brenna it is!" Maya smiled, giving her new Squirtle a hug.
 
OOC: Got it.

"Ah, you must be Tristan," Professor Oak said, "I heard you like Grass Pokemon, as well as nature."

"How did you know?" Tristan asked.

"Well, I know because you've been covered in dirt. Just take a look at yourself."

Tristan inspected his clothes. "Uh...yeah, I guess," he said.

"Anyway, who will your starter be?" asked Oak.

"Turtwig, please!" Tristan said, "After all, I lived most of my life in Sinnoh."

"Okay!" said Oak. Oak went to the table, picked up Turtwig's Poke Ball, and handed it to Tristan. "Take good care of it!"

"I will!" Tristan promised, "Come on out, Turtwig!"

The Tiny Leaf Pokemon emerged from its Poke Ball, but something was off about it.

"What? I don't see Turtwig in this color," said Tristan, "Is something wrong with this Turtwig?"

"No, not at all," Oak replied, "Why don't you go meet the other trainers who have received their starter Pokemon?"

"Okay," replied back Tristan. He and Turtwig walked towards the trainers. One of them was a girl with a Piplup, another one was a boy with a Treecko and the last one was a girl with a Squirtle.

"So I see you got your Pokemon," said Tristan to the trainers.
 
Moon ran though the lab door. She was hyper. She was going to start a Pokemon adventure today.

"Ahh you must be Moon, I heard you like to have fun, I have the perfect starter for you," Oak said.

"Give me! Give me!" Moon said hyper.

"Woah now, wait I'll get your starter" Oak said getting a pokeball from the table.
 
"Yes," Lan replied to the boy with a turtwig. Lan noticed that all the pokemon were shiny.
 
Oak came back and gave Moon a pokeball. Moon threw it right away and a shiny Totodile came out.

"Yay! A shiny Pokemon!" Moon said. Totodile liked Moon right away. Moon saw the other trainers and went toward them.
 
Lan noticed a irl with a totodile walk over. "That makes 6 of us. Wanna have a 3-3 battle?Or a 6 way battle?" lan asked.
 
Platimum 'Plato' Pearl raced to Professer Oak's lab. He noticed Trainers were outside with shiny Pokémon. He knew what they were: he had spent a lot of time sneaking into Prof. Rowan's lab. He went in.

"Hey, Oak," Plato said.

"Ah, Platinium, good to see you. I hope you haven't been sneaking into Proffeser Rowan's lab lately, have you?" Plato had made the mistake of going into Rowan's Lab when Oak was visiting.

"Hey, I can't gureentee you anything," Plato returned. Apparently the starters had been lined up in National Dex order, so he grabbed the Chimchar ball. He opened the Poké Ball to apparently his shoulder. A shiny Chimchar popped out.

"Chi i im char!" he said.

"Awesome, you're Char, little fella," Plato said. Char screeched delightfully.

Oak didn't seem to be confused, all the time he went to Rowan's lab, he picked up a lot off Pokémon knowledge.

"Hey, can I join you?" Plato asked outside to the group of Trainers. Chim was on his shoulders.

OOC: Oh yeah, Plato has the Pt Pokétech, if I didn't mention it before. If it was the D/P Pokétch, I changed it.
 
Flo stepped through the door, pushing it aside and staring at Professor Oak with his piercing viridian eyes through his sunglasses.

"Ah, Florian, I believe you are here for your starter?"

"That's very much correct, sir."

"Well... pick, then."

Flo hovered, thinking of what to choose, when his hand lay to rest on the ball belonging to a Chikorita. He flung it to the floor, and a bright light was emitted from it, until it formed a small Chikorita.

"Hey, there, Amarantha."

The Chikorita grinned and leapt into Flo's arms.
 
Lulu Ketchum charged down the road to Professor Oak's laboratory at the speed of light.Not because she was late and had overslept,like her big brother Ash,but because she couldn't wait to get her first pokemon!Lulu flew through the gates and then buzzed the doorbell 1000 times.

'Professor Oak?It's meeeeeee!!!Lulu Ketchum!!!'

'Ah,Lulu!You're here!Come in,come in!'

Professor Oak led Lulu into the laboratory to the pokeballs.

'Did you save me a Charmander?' Lulu asked hopefully.

'Of course!I wouldn't have it any other way!Here he is!' the pokemon professor handed Lulu a pokeball.

'Alright,come on out Charmander!' Lulu tossed the ball in the air,releasing a pokeball.

'Charrrrrmander!' the little dragon sang.

'Awwww,I love him professor!He's so cute!' Lulu ran over to hug him,then stopped.'Hang on,he's not gonna attack me like Ash's Pikachu did,right?You won't hurt me,will you?' Charmander shook his head and sprang into Lulu's arms.

'Well,I gotta jet,professor!Thanks for everything!Look after my Mom!' Lulu called as she walked outside the lab to greet half of Pallet Town.

'Surprise,dear!' Delia Ketchum cried.

'Mom!What-why's everyone here?' Lulu asked in surprise.

'Everybody come to see you off!Is that your Charmander?He's adorable!Oh,I'm going to miss you so much!Don't forget to-'

'Yeah,okay Mom,you said the same thing to me a year back,we don't need a repeat perfomance unless you want that Charmander to cook everyone' Ash Ketchum cut his mother off.Dawn and Brock chuckled good-naturedly.

'Brock!Dawn!ASH!!!' Lulu's eyes lit up.'What're you doing here?!I thought you were in Sinnoh!'

'I wouldn't miss this for anything,you know that,Lulu!You're gonna do awesome,I know it!That Charmander's gonna grow up to be strong!Hang on,isn't that my cap-'

'OkaythanksforcomingeveryoneIgottagonowBYE!!!' Lulu shouted as she ran off.She found a couple of trainers gathered outside the lab,obviously newbies.

'Hey!Did you guys just get your first pokemon too?' Lulu grinned.
 
"What do you think?! Who doesn't have a starter?! HUH?"

OCC: This is Fire's cold nature to new people. It may not reflect the views of me.
 
OOC: Don't worry about it one of my characters in another RPG is the biggest b*tch you will ever meet ;P
BTW when I say 'Misty in the making' I'm referring to the friendship that Ash had with Misty,so I'm guessing your character won't be a friend to Lulu like Misty was to Ash.

'Hey!What's your problem?That wasn't a nice thing to say!' Lulu frowned.Weird.Guess she wasn't a Misty in the making.
 
"Sure!" Moon said she was soo happy she was going to have a battle.
