Introduction:
In the ever changing world of pokemon, new things are being forged everyday. New buildings, new technologies, and even a new generation of inventors. Though arguably the most important advancement in the pokemon world is a new art of training and utilizing pokemon. No longer will trainers be confined to being battlers, coordinators, or breeders. Now, trainers can become Factioneers: the heroes of the regions.
Factioneers are assigned various missions that they must work with their pokemon, as well as any comrades they gain, to complete. However, they are often employed to rid the regions of evil syndicates, such as Team Rocket or Team Plasma. Because of this, the world has become a generally more peaceful place.
However, due to the increase in Factioneers, trainers have had to band together to form groups of Factioneers, simply called “Factions”. These Factions must compete with other Factioneer groups to gain fame and become the top Factioneers of their region.
Now here’s where you come in. You are an ambitious young teenager, trying to make your way in the pokemon world. More specifically, you’re looking to join a Faction in Aerial Island, a gorgeous Utopia of a landmass that contains ancestral and cultural remnants of all the regions of the pokemon world.
So are you up for the challenge? Taking down evil clans? Fulfilling potentially dangerous missions? Only you can decide your fate. While you’re in a faction, you will gain knowledge, friends, and strength. Though no matter what, you will make the world a better place.
Good Luck, future Factioneer. Make your world proud.

Rules (There are important things in here):
No God-modding. This is just standard procedure, I shouldn’t have to be reminding you of this. A balance between success and failure makes an RP interesting. Don’t forget, a carefully planned loss can benefit your character just as much a win can.
Bunnying, within reason, is allowed. When I say this, I mean that if you are going away for a while, you can bestow permission onto another RPer to control your character. It must be a mutual thing, and I must be informed from both sides before this can take place. If I am not informed of this before hand, I can’t allow it.
No Flaming, Trolling, Harming Other RPers, Tennising, etc. Again, this is expected in all roleplays. No harmful things are said to other roleplayers. In character, you can act as you see fit, as long as no one else is offended by it. If anybody is, I will have to ask you to stop.
Swearing, within reason, is allowed. As long as you aren’t offending anybody else, you can swear. Don’t be abusive of this by dropping the F-Bomb every other sentence when having a normal conversation.
Romance, within reason, is allowed. Again, as long as it’s not offensive, I’m typically fine with it. Hugging, kissing, and slightly above that should be okay. Anything above that should be kept via PM, though I would like to be informed of this. Don’t give me the details, just tell me what exactly went down.
Violence and gore, within reason, are allowed. This is the main reason why this RP is labeled Mature. We might be using our pokemon to attack humans, yes, but please, don't over do it. Blood gushing out like a fountain of a grunt's head is overdoing it. Any questions in the RP, feel free to PM me.
Though I hate to pull this card, my word is law. If I ask you to change something, please change it. If you have a plausible disagreement, I’ll listen to you, though that does not necessarily mean I will change it.
No legendary pokemon. Legendary pokemon are just that: legendary. The chances of a teenage kid having a legendary pokemon, not including the games/shows/manga/etc., are close to none. Plus, it’s not fair to the other roleplayers if you’ve got an Arceus on your team. If you’ve read the rules, please put something about a Phione, though be subtle about it.
If there is anything that needs to be changed, please feel free to VM/PM me. This includes things dealing with other roleplayers, your status in the roleplay, or even the course of the RP itself. Again, I can’t please everybody, so it will be considered, not necessarily put into action.
All standard BMGF roleplaying rules apply. No brainer.

Damon West
Becca Bolter
Name: Damon West
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Damon is a muscular yet slender tall man, being about 6 foot 3 inches and 180 pounds. He has short brown hair that he typically styles into a short faux hawk. He has dark brown eyes and fair skin, though due to the time he’s spent outside, it is lightly tanned. He never has any facial hair. He has slight wrinkles around his eyes and mouth from smiling.
As for his clothing, Damon wears a white and red striped t shirt with a slight v neck. He also wears a pair of figure hugging black jeans. For shoes, Damon wears a pair of red high tops with white accents, similar to his shirt. He occasionally wears a black leather jacket over his shirt. He typically wears a black and red pokeball belt, though he has been known to simply forget it and bring his pokeballs in his pocket.
Personality: Unlike the pokemon Phione, Damon has an extremely fiery personality. He is very active in conversations and often takes charge in conversations. He is very outgoing and typically prepared for anything that comes his way. He acts on impulse a lot, which occasionally gets him into trouble. However, his instincts are usually right, which makes him a fairly good leader. He can be physical, and most likely will be if an issue arises. That being said, he still is reasonable and won’t charge into a fight that he has no chance of winning at. Also, despite having a seemingly simple and brutish personality, Damon is very calculating and tactical. Because of this, many people who are close enough to see Damon’s other side believe that his outgoing personality is actually a total act so his enemies will under-estimate him. Even if this is true, Damon still behaves like his act, so it is extremely hard to tell.
History: Damon had an extremely easy going childhood. His parents were rich coordinators who hosted, participated, and won in super contests. They always were attempting to persuade Damon into pursuing coordination, though his personality and battling interests always seemed to clash with it. After a couple futile attempts, his parents gave up on it and began supporting him in his choice to pursue pokemon battling.
As a young teenager, Damon’s family hit a streak of ill fortune. The coordinating business was in a depression, so his parents were put out of jobs almost entirely. He was forced to give up his competitive battling team, due to the cost of simply being on the team. His parents also began fighting, the lack of money and entire situation affecting them negatively. This took a strong tole on Damon, as his parents occasionally took their aggression out on him, though only by shouting or verbal lashings.
Eventually, as Damon entered his teenage years, his parents split up. This had an immense impact on Damon, as this caused him to doubt himself. Even though he knew that the divorce wasn’t his fault, he felt that he could have done something to prevent it. Now that his parents were officially divorced, they began talking about each other behind their backs, which made Damon unsure of his trusts. He continued feeling this way until he was about 15 years old.
As mentioned above, something happened to Damon that stopped his self-inflicted emotional damage. He met a boy named Rocko just a few years older than him at the time, being 19. Rocko was in a situation far worse than Damon was, having one of his parents killed by Team Rocket, which the other spouse was a part of and somewhat responsible for the death. However, Rocko was more than determined that he was doing good than Damon was. Rocko was one of the first Factioneers.
Rocko recruited Damon into a Faction, in which they both fought crime all across Sinnoh. During this time, Damon became much more secure of himself, as well as becoming a leader in general. He became a much better battler and a better friend in general.
But after a mission gone bad, Damon and Rocko went missing for months. Even when he was found, which was in the middle of the desert by himself without any food, water, or pokemon, it was only Damon who was found. Rocko, as well as the rest of Damon’s team, were never seen again. Damon must have had his brain washed by a psychic pokemon, as he has absolutely no recollection of these events, much less Rocko himself. He has, however, retained his memory of first being a Factioneer. The memory is fuzzy, to say the least, but it has become the sole inspiration for Damon to become a Factioneer again: to make sure that whatever happened to Rocko, never happens again.

Name: Becca Bolter
Gender: Female
Age:16
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Becca has dark brown hair that goes a little past her shoulders. She has bright blue, almost gray eyes that are subtle, despite their piercing color. She has pale skin that has no blemishes. She is of average height for her age, being about 5 foot 5 inches. She has a dancer’s build, with a slightly curvaceous figure.
Becca wears a light purple, over the shoulder shirt with a bronze colored necklace around her neck. She wears black, athletic leggings that cut off around her shins. She wears gray and violet tartan wool, ankle bootie shoes with a wedge heel. When it’s cold out, she typically pulls on a baja hoodie. Becca keeps all her pokeballs in a unique compartment that fits around her wrist, like a red and white bracelet. She has two of them, and each one holds three pokeballs. Even though she only has two pokemon, she still wears both of them.
Personality: Becca is a fairly calm person. She is often considered to be friendly and a nice companion to all. Despite her troubled past, she trusts people fairly quickly and forgives almost always. She is also pretty sociable, so she’ll be the one to strike up a conversation. She knows her limits though, so she won’t go up to a mass murderer and begin to talk and trust them. She is also a cautious person, never charging into something unless she knows exactly what she’s doing. Because of this, she can be very curious and somewhat even nosy, though she never intends to harm anybody. She’s not afraid to get down and dirty, despite her girly appearance, and can hold her own in any test of physical endurance, though she doesn’t like these sorts of tests. She treats pokemon like friends more than battling tools, though this also helps her to become a ferocious battler when she needs to be.
History: Becca had an extremely sheltered life. She lived entirely isolated from society, living only with her father in a giant mansion in Northern Unova. Becca never met her mother, due to the fact that her mother died during the child birth of Becca. She had no siblings either, so her only companions besides her father were her two pokemon, a Drilbur and a Scraggy.
She was never curious as a young girl, accepting everything that her father asked, told, or ordered her to do. Even though she was always cheery around her father, even when completing his tasks, he still kept distant from her. When she would cry, he would have one of his many pokemon attend to it, rather than himself.
Of course, as she got older, she got much more curious, as most children do. She started asking her father why they lived alone, why they lived in such a mansion, but most importantly, what else was in the world besides the mansion. Her father tried his best to simply ignore her questions, but as Becca became more stubborn, he had no choice but to tell her the answers.
Though he did not tell her the answers. He told her imaginative lies, like how the mansion was the only place where he could live. He also told her that the people who lived in the rest of the world didn’t like her father, and that he needed to hide so that they wouldn’t come after him. He told more lies, though Becca soon was able to detect what was false and what was not.
After a few months of asking questions, Becca knew that her father had been in some deep trouble. She knew that he was only living in the uninhabited mountains because he was scared of something, though she couldn’t figure out what this something was. She knew that he was hiding something from her as well, though she couldn’t figure it out either. She soon grew to accept this, and she stopped questioning him soon afterwards.
They continued to live in solitude until she was around 12 years old. At this time, people started encroaching on to their land in the mountains. They brought with them televisions, radios, and other forms of communication that Becca had no idea even existed. In secret, Becca started going outside of the mansion and speaking with the people. They told her about the rest of the world, as well as about the art of Factioneering, as these people were Factioneers represented by a Phione that were searching for a evil syndicate leader in the mountains.
Eventually, after a couple months camped out in the mountains, the Factioneers left expectantly. Now that Becca had been exposed to modern society, she started to become addicted to it. When she could without getting detected, she would read magazines that the Factioneers left for her. She read the magazines hundreds of times, learning and assuming as much as she could about the world outside the mountains.
Though she thought she was being covert about all of this, her father knew exactly what was going on. He didn’t approve of her curiosity one bit, but he knew that if he were to stop her, she would know for a fact what was going on, how he was watching her with special cameras. So to cool her social needs, Becca’s father sent Becca to Driftveil City to live on her own. He hoped she would start a journey to become a trainer and see the world for what it truly was. He would be waiting with his arms open for her when she realized the world wasn’t exactly how it was supposedly in her fantasies.
Though Becca didn’t know exactly why she was being sent away from the mansion, she was beyond ecstatic when she found out. She somewhat followed her father’s expectations by learning how to battle, though she actually enjoyed the world, unlike her father’s predictions. Now that she had learned how to survive on her own, she decided to become a Factioneer, like the group of people she met in the mountains. So she boarded a plane and flew to Aerial Island, prepared to join a guild and bring peace to the world, as well as approval to her father.
