The Pokémon Company is expanding its collaboration with vocaloid Hatsune Miku, this time launching a collection of merchandise featuring the singer as a Pokémon Trainer specializing in each of the 18 types. Pokémon x Hatsune Miku are also adding to their catalog of songs, launching their first song of 2026 on January 28th. The new merch collection, “18 Harmony Stage,” will arrive at Pokémon Centers in Japan on January 31st, and to the Pokémon Center Online on January 29th.

Pokémon x Hatsune Miku have spent the last few years making the “18 Types/Songs” project, releasing 18 paired songs and illustrations envisioning Hatsune Miku as a Type-specialist Trainer. All 18 designs have been collected for a slate of apparel, accessories, and some stationery. To begin with apparel, a hoodie featuring art from the collab will retail for ¥7,700 ($48.67 USD), and a track jacket with illustrations in the lining will be ¥9,900 ($62.58 USD). Six different styles of t-shirts, each featuring three of Miku’s Type-specialist designs, will retail for ¥3,300 ($20.86 USD) each.

There will also be a tote bag with Miku’s signature teal color for the handles and a sherpa throw blanket, each for ¥3,300 ($20.86 USD). A hand towel with each of the 18 designs will retail for ¥2,200 ($13.91 USD), and pins come in 6 sets of 3 for ¥1,650 ($10.43 USD) each.

The new Pokémon x Hatsune Miku song is part of the ongoing Project VOLTAGE High ↑, a continuation of Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs. The official Project VOLTAGE X (formerly Twitter) account teased Meloetta as featuring in the new song, as well as hinting the song may include all 18 types in some way. The song will likely debut on the YouTube channel of the producer (who is not yet announced), as all the other Project VOLTAGE songs have.
