Harry walked back and forth through the room, waiting for Professor Oak to come in. The man, in his fifties, rushed in, apologizing to Harry, referencing the fact that he was very late. Professor Oak walked over to the machine behind him, which had five Pokeballs sitting in it. "Choose one!" Professor Oak kindly stated, as Harry walked over to it.

"I'm going to choose..." Harry said, as he grabbed the Pokeball holding a green Seed Pokemon. "Bulbasaur."

"A very good choice, young man." Professor Oak said, smiling happily at the new trainer.

"Yo, Oak, what up in da hizzouse?!" Eliot says, breakdancing into the lab through the window. "Lemme get some pikachu action up in dis shizzle, homie."
 
"Oh, of course." Professor Oak said, handing the Electric type over. "I think it's going to really like you."

Harry turned round, noticing the trainer that had just walked in. Harry then sighed, and walked out of the lab, his Bulbasaur walking besides him.
 
Nate looked at his note then back up at the labratory on top of a hill. "I guess thats it" he thought to himself as he walked up the stairs leading to the entrance. He saw two other trainers already there, one with a Bulbasaur and one with a Pikachu. He walked past them, then into the lab. "Uh professor?" Nate said looking around, "I'm here to pick up a Pokemon"
 
"Charmander, Squirtle, and Eevee are left." Professor Oak revealed. "Which one would you like?"
 
After a long journey, Justin had finally reached Professor Oak's lab. He was eager to get his first Pokemon. He said to himself as he walked up the steps leading to the front door, "At last I'm here! Finally I can get my first Pokemon and begin my journey. I wonder which Pokemon would be the best choice." He walked into the lab and greeted the Professor, "Hi there, Professor Oak. I'm ready to start my journey!"
 
"You're the fourth today, young wippersnapper." Professor Oak said. "Which Pokemon do you want?"
 
Justin thought for a moment about his decision noticing there were three pokeballs left. He said, "Hmm....So Squirtle, Charmander, and Eevee are left..." He was debating on which Pokemon he'd take. "You know what? I think I'm gonna go with Charmander!"
 
"Heya!" Eliot says to Nate and Justin, having decided that while it feels good to be gangsta, it was too tiring to keep it up all the time. "So you guys are going on a Pokemon journey too?"
 
Jakku's feet skidded as he desperately tried to maintain his balance, running along the rooftops of Pallet Town to avoid the crowds.
He was already late.
He cursed, and skidded to a halt, almost falling.
He'd forgotten Oak's Lab wasn't connected by rooftops to any of the buildings in Pallet.
Jakku leapt down into a bush, did a roll, and started running again, finally dashing through the door.
"*pant* Squirtle *pant* please..."
 
"Hmm, I think I'll pick Eevee" Nathan said as he pointed at the Pokeball situated in front of the Professor. "Uh, yeah, as soon as I get my Pokemon" Nate said in response to Eliot's question.
 
"You should come with me and this ninja dude!" Eliot says. "We're gonna be Pokemon champions, kill the Elite Four, and take over the world! Or something like that."
 
"You should come with me too!" Evan says. "Together, we will be...Team Crimson!" He says, striking a badass pose and pointing to the sky.
 
"Even better! Jakku Ebansu and friends!"
Jakku struck a heroic pose, then stopped, as one of the Pokeballs opened by itself, and Squirtle ran over, leaping onto Jakku's shoulder, and mimicking his heroic pose.
"..."
Jakku looked down at the little guy.
"THIS IS AWESOME!"
Inter-species relations hit an all-time high as both human and Pokemon tried to look heroic.
 
"I am Jakku Ebansu. This is..."
He turned to look at the Squirtle.
"Your new name is Zato."
The Squirtle nodded enthusiastically.
"I am Jakku Ebansu, this is my Squirtle, Zato!"
