To mark this month's release of the Pokémon TCG: Mega Lucario ex Figure Collection, Pokémon GO is partnering with select retailers in the United States, Canada, and Australia for a special collaboration event that will run from Friday, November 7th, at 10:00am to Sunday, November 30th, at 8:00pm local time.

Participating Retail Locations
To participate in this event, Trainers will need to visit the physical stores of the following retailers.
  • United States: Best Buy, GameStop, Target
  • Canada and Australia: EB Games
Featured Pokémon
Mega Lucario will appear more frequently in Mega Raids at participating retail locations during this event. These Lucario will occasionally appear as Shiny Pokémon.

Timed Research
Trainers will be able to obtain event-themed Timed Research throughout the event by opening their Pokémon GO app while physically present at a participating retail location during the event. Trainers completing the tasks from this Timed Research will receive XP, Stardust, and an encounter with Lucario, amongst other rewards.

Bonus in-game items

Trainers in the United States who purchase a Pokémon GO gift card from a Target retail store or Target.com between November 1st and December 31st will receive the Lucario Mask avatar item upon redemption here. This item is limited to one redemption per account. Trainers who already own the Lucario Mask will receive an alternate item of equal value.

Please note that while stores branded as Target are present in Australia, they are an entirely separate company who have no direct relationship or affiliation with the American retailer of the same name, and are not involved in this promotion. Target Canada, which was an actual subsidiary of the American Target Corporation, closed in 2015. Target.com also discontinued shipping to Canada and other international locations as of 2020.
