Hello! Sorry to keep you waiting! Welcome to the world of POKéMON! My name is OAK. People call me the POKéMON PROF.
This world is inhabited by creatures that we call POKéMON. People and POKéMON live together by supporting each other. Some people play with POKéMON, some battle with them. But we don't know everything about POKéMON yet. There are still many mysteries to solve. That's why I study POKéMON every day.

Thank you PROF. OAK for the introduction. So if you couldn't tell already, this is an RP based on the original Gold/Silver games. You will be going through all the challenges in the original games (or at least most of them). You will be going through the original order of events in the game, although some events you can skip. So basically, your goal is to collect all the badges in Johto and become the champion of Johto. Even if you do become Champion or not, you will still go on and collect the 8 badges of Kanto and then go to Mt. Silver to challenge the legendary POKéMON Trainer, Red.
Rules:
*Follow Bulbagarden Forum Rules
*No Godmodding
*You will not be able to catch Lugia, Ho-Oh or any other legendaries.
*Special Relationships (as in love) are allowed, but no sexual scenes, as that is not allowed. Kissing is allowed. So basically, keep it PG-13.
*No swearing/cussing. I will allow hell, damn, and crap only.
*Try to stay active.
*No spamming
*No one line posts.
*Only one RP'er can become the champion, unless they lose to a championship battle to another RP'er.
*You CAN get POKeMON other than Generation 1 and 2, but only by evolution (If you catch a Swinub, you can evolve it into Mamoswine).
*You can only catch wild POKéMON based on the wild Pokemon in Generation 2.
*Pokemon learn moves when they level up. The moveset of POKéMON is based on Generation 4 (For any information, just look up the Generation 4 moveset of any POKéMON on Bulbapedia).
*You can only go to the Kanto region after someone becomes Champion. You are going to need to get the Pass to ride the S.S. Aqua from PROF. ELM. To go to Mt. Silver, you need the 8 Kanto badges and 8 Johto badges. Then go to PROF. OAK to get permission.

*In the Burned Tower, you will encounter the three legendary beasts (unless someone else sees them and then posts all three of them run away) but you can't catch them.
*After someone fixes the problem at the Power Plant, anyone can then ride the Magnet Train. Passes will be collected at the Magnet Train Station.

Personality:What’s prominent about N’s personality is that he’s a snotty brat. He doesn't like doing heavy legwork unless it’s absolutely necessary; preferably, he enjoys others doing such duties for him. He also loves teasing people by twisting words, but at the same time he can twist words so bad that he can hurt someone quite badly with them. He has an air of arrogance around him, and it isn’t entirely unjustifiable. N is confident in everything he does, and doesn’t normally second-guess himself. He’s powerful even if he neither looks nor acts like it.
However, beneath all of the arrogance is an extremely intelligent and wise character. He’s perceptive and aware of the people around him. Living for as long as he has, N has seen many types of people, from the bad to the good. Yet he has seen more people with bad qualities than he has good qualities, and not many of them change. he has a cynical attitude toward people and their ability.
N is not the most honest person anyone will ever meet. At best, he tells partial truths, but for the most part he lies. He’s convincing as an actor and liar, and it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. N’s signs are subtle, and the only person who can really read him is his mother, because of the bond they share. He appears to be indifferent to others and their pain. Yet once someone manages to worm their way into his heart, N will care, but he hides it deep within himself. N doesn’t have anything in the way of friendship, other than his tie with his mother.
He can be manipulative, and likes to play games with everyone. It doesn’t matter who it is, but N does come off as someone who treats everything like a game. Though true to a certain extent, he has an underlying maturity in him. It’s hard to take N by surprise as despite the laid-back attitude, he’s a cautious individual. He has rarely seen someone express kindness just for the sake of being kind.
N is also unbiased and prefers to be in the shades of grey. He judges people with fairness, and leaves out as much bias as he can. His actions can be questionable at best, and they sometimes make him seem like a selfish character. However, N takes responsibility for all of what he does, even if the motive isn’t quite clear. He doesn’t care what people think of him as he knows exactly what he did, and has calculated the consequences of his actions.
There are times in which he can be a downright jerk, but this is a more calculated side of him. Though normally subtle, he understands that there are times he needs to be blunt and forthright. Sometimes, it’s to push someone to see the bigger picture or to force the truth out from the dark and into the light. N is also calm and patient, perhaps extremely so. He's rarely seen annoyed or angry, and while certainly philosophical, he's also logical.
History: Perhaps, you could see N as a one hell of an Aristocrat.
He was born as an aristocrat and is the only son of a wealthy and powerful businessman.
He resides in a very luxurious suburban mansion with only his father and maid, Leann.
His father strongly hates Pokemon Battle, and really prefer his son to be a top coordinator or maybe a businessman like him. But well, N wants to be a Trainer, so he set out on an adventure, to be a top pokemon trainer, but also fighting with style and grace.
