Pokemon Green Funny Translation

Has anybody ever played the Poket Monsters Japanese Green translation? I find it really finny how it was translated, like Caterpie was CATAP and stuff like that. Anyone with me?:XD2:

That's a fan translation. It's not real. I would rather play it in Japanese, despite the fact that I don't know much.

It's not so much funny as it is that "Caterpie" won't fit where "キャタピー" is.
