it's been ten years since ash's last adventure, and he has since taken oaks place as the kanto reigons professor. with his two sons, 12 year old dameon, and 8 eight year old flare, he runs a new lab on cinnabar island. everything was going great, till twelve months ago, when a meteor strike unleashed a nightmare. an army of deoxys, intent on taking over the world, have invaded and corrupted normal pokemon, turning them into hybrids of deoxys and the infected pokemon. crippled in the original battle, ash is out of commition. now it's up to dameon, flare, and their friends to stop the deoxys army and save the world. no sweet right?
