There are a few pokemon in the first 3 generations that I think should get a new evolution in Gen V.
Pinsir- One of the coolest bug pokemon in the games, and it doesn't have a baby poke or a second evolution.
Heracross-A fan favorite from the Johto region, definately needs an upgrade.
Qwilfish- A poison/water type fish with no evos to date.
Jynx- Along with Magmar and Electibuzz, Jynx got a baby pokemon in the second generation, but when the others got an evolution in the 4th Gen, Jynx did not.
Girafarig- I'm not sure why, but it seems like they could go further with this one.
Banette- One of the several from gen 3 that doesn't have an evolution. They could definately make this one have a cool evolution.
Torkoal- A popular choice for fire type trainers, needs an upgrade.
Spinda-This one looks like it should evolve, they could easily make an evo for it.
Luvdisc-Again, it just looks like it should evolve but doesn't.
Thats about all I can think of, feel free to drop suggestions!

Yes, I agree with these.

I think Banette is fine as it is. She's base on a doll searching for the kid who threw her away. How is that going to evolve?

Also, Spinda was just a gimmick Pokémon that doesn't deserve an evo.

Then maybe a preevolution for Heracross instead of making it more powerful.

Torkoal do not need a evolve form, but it does need some better speed. The one in the anime can run, but the game, it is so slow.

as for the pre-evolutions/evolutions, here are my wishes:

pre-evolutions:

kangaskhan - normal-type (baby pokémon)
pinsir - bug-type (baby pokémon)
tauros - normal-type (baby pokémon)
heracross - bug-type (baby pokémon)
miltank - normal-type (baby pokémon)

evolutions:

machoke -> female machamp equivalent - fighting-type
rapidash - fire/flying-type
mime jr. -> female mr. mime equivalent - psychic-type
jynx - ice/psychic-type
dunsparce - normal/ground-type
sunflora - grass/fire-type
stantler - normal/psychic-type
luvdisc - water/ghost-type
combee -> male vespiquen equivalent - bug/dark-type
pachirisu - electric/flying-type
buneary -> male lopunny equivalent - normal/fighting-type
lumineon - water/steel-type

sooo for pinsir and heracross, we'd have some sort of larva thing. and it would evolve like wrumple or something... and for tauros and miltank, it'd be the same pokémon except if it's male, its colour would be light brown, and if it's female, its colour would be light pink. so really, we'd only get three pre-evolutions.

especially the poor sunflora.

Dunsparse. It needs one. Fast.

Luvdisk and Pinsir, and prehaps Corsloa too.

I don't know, I kind of like the idea of none of them but I guess poor pachi could do with an upgrade.

Also, Spinda was just a gimmick Pokémon that doesn't deserve an evo.

So why do you think luvdisc deserves one? That was definitely a gimmick pokemon.

machoke -> female machamp equivalent - fighting-type
mime jr. -> female mr. mime equivalent - psychic-type
buneary -> male lopunny equivalent - normal/fighting-type

I like gallade and all but he seems to have put this idea into people's heads and it's really annoying. What's wrong with having a pokemon that looks somewhat the opposite sex from what it is?

rapidash - fire/flying-type
dunsparce - normal/ground-type
sunflora - grass/fire-type
luvdisc - water/ghost-type
lumineon - water/steel-type

Is there logic to any of this typing because I am not seeing any.

Aerodactyl needs a prevolution or evolution - it's the only fossil pokemon that does not have two forms, and they really need to do something about Kangaskhan - there's just something not right about a pokemon being hatched with a baby pokemon already waiting...

It might be nice if Tauros and Miltank gain a common prevolution that changes into one or the other depending on gender.

I think "gimmick" pokemon deserve an evolution as to be something else other than annoying gimmick pokemon.

Pinsir I think needs an evolution. I always thought that Pinsir and Scyther had a sort of rivalry, so I find it odd that one gained an evolution while the other did not.

@Nogitsune I almost posted that same idea! Breed a Tauros and a Miltank and get x pokemon, if x is a boy it evolves into Tauros and if x is female it evolves into Miltank.

I think there could be potential in that, im sure there are several pokemon that those principles would apply to.

I reckon Mawile could do with an evolution. And also, I reckon Absol and Skarmory could do with prevolutions, but not evolutions.

Too many evolutions IMO. I think Electabuzz, Magmar, and so many others shouln't have another evolution stage. It makes it complicated. Seriously... Electabuzz from Kanto (generation one) to Electivire in Sinnoh (generation four). I think Gallade was a new add-in too. Too complicated.

I like it that Lapras and a few others that don't have another evolution stage.

Qwilfish could use an evolution.

Dunsparce too. He could evolve into a Dunsparce with two heads.

I think some Pokemon could use it, simply because they're lines seem incomplete at their final stage. Dunsparce has some nice moves but it feels like it defiently needs to go further. I could actuelly see it, due to its basis, turning into a real powerhouse of a Pokemon if they play it right.

Kangaskhan, yeah, defiently needs a male counterpart. And then, mating them could result in finally getting to have a baby version. Kangaskhan are rare anyway, so it'd make sense that a male version would be even more rare since many species are like that due to one male watching over a group of females.
