OOC: Guys, I don't have a lot of time, so I'm going to make this short.

Kuro walked out of his house and towards the Professor's Lab. Today he was going to get his first Pokemon. He wanted to get their first, so he could get a Charmander. He approached the lab and knocked on the door. Professor Oak answered. "Hello" he said "You must be here to get your first Pokemon." "Yeah" said Kuro. "Come in" Prof. Oak said. Kuro walked in and stood before a long tble with four Pokeballs on it. "Pick one" said Professor Oak. Kuro said "I'll pick Charmander." "Good choice" said Oak "raise it well." Kuro thank the Prof. and walked out of the lab. Outside he waited for other trainers.
 
OOC: Kuro, all I can say is.......*facepalm*. You could've waited until you had the time to put quality work into the first post of the start-up.

Castelia sat on the sandy banks of a river, half asleep, with Melody curled up next to her. A cool breeze whistled through the branches of the trees, rustling their leaves. Castelia, feeling as though it was time to take a short nap before she started her journey, began to release grip on the fishing rod she held in her hand. But, as the rod jerked and the line was pulled outwards, toward the river's rippling, white water, she snapped back into action, and reeled up. Castelia dug her heels into the dirt as she struggled to get whatever Pokemon had been hooked, up onto the shore in front of her. Then, with a mighty, yank, a Goldeen leaped out of the water, blocking the girl's view of the sun for a moment, then landing, squirming around, and being smothered in sand that stuck to its moist body. "We did it Melody!" Castelia cried, as the little yellow electric-type chirped, and hopped up on to her shoulder. "Pika!" Castelia quickly took the Goldeen, and slipped it back into the water, before grabbing her backpack and heading for Pallet Town.
 
While Kuro waited he chose out his Charmander. Then Prof. Oak came back out. "Good Kuro, you're still here. You forgot your Pokedex." "Thanks Professor Oak.' he said. Then the Prof went back inside.
 
OOC: Just lazy writing. In the time it took you to make those two posts, you could've have a way better first one. I'm just saiyan.

Castelia walked up to lab's door. She grabbed the metal knocker, and slammed it against the door, a little nervous.

OOC2: Are you gonna control Professor Oak, or are we?
 
Prof. Oak answered the door. "Hello" he said "You must be here to get your Pokedex as I see you already have a Pokemon."

OOC: I am
 
"Yup." Castelia answered. "This is Melody, my Pikachu." Melody waved, and did a little cheer. "And, if you don't mind me asking, what's a Pokedex?" Castelia asked, tilting her head, confused.
 
"I'll show you." Prof. Oak went back inside the Lab and emerged with a Pokedex. "This is a Pokedex" he said "It automattically records data on any Pokemon you meet or catch.
 
"Oh!" Castelia exclaimed, grabbing the Pokedex, and flipping through all of its pages. "This is so cool!"
 
Eliot, meanwhile, had been up for an hour, having taken the time to meticulously prepare himself. He took great pride in his appearance, and worked hard to be as pretty as possible, and today, it was especially important, as it was time for him to get his first Pokemon. He left the house, and not too far away, he saw...A Nidoran!
"Ah-ha! A Nidoran! Today is a great day for you, my friend, for you are my first quarry!" Eliot says, as he pounces on it, only to be stuck by it's poisonous barbs, allowing it to escape.
"Ow! Owowowow!" He says, getting up, picking spikes from his body. He then continues chasing it, finally following it into the lab near a young woman dressed as a Pikachu.
"Excusez moi, mademoiselle." Eliot says to Castelia, drawing upon his limited command of French, of which he learned a few words for the sole purpose of impressing woman, as well as totally ignoring the professor and Kuro. "Tell me, may I ask what is the name of such a beautiful young woman? Oh, and may I also borrow a Poke ball? I must catch my first Pokemon."
 
"You can have it. Now run along on you journey" he said.

OOC: Tamaki. Remember that this is a serious RP.
 
Castelia turned. "Ohai! My name's Castelia! And sorry, I don't have a Pokeball to lend you. I just started my journey a couple minutes ago."
 
OOC: How am I not being serious?

"Really?" Eliot asks. "Tell me, would you be willing to join me on my journey, then? I feel there is strength in numbers, for nothing can defeat the power of love and friendship! Also, Mr. Professor man, may I borrow a Pokeball? I really want that Nidoran."
 
Camille wasn't in a particular hurry, as she wouldn't need a starter from the lab. She had received a young Electabuzz just a day prior, so she had everything she needed. She walked out of her house with Electabuzz in tow, the latter clinging to her like she was its mother. Camille could only smile at this. "You know, you and me are become the greatest Coordinator team ever." She said. Electabuzz seemed to agree, because out of nowhere, her hair spiked up, and was rather glittery. Seeing no point in getting upset over something unintentional that was easily fixed, she just smiled, and brushed her hair down as she walked towards the lab to get her Pokédex and Poké Balls.
 
OOC: Kuro, he seems to be pretty serious to me. Don't get you knickers in a twist. You should also make a discussion thread to this one's not all clogged up with OOC posts.
 
OOC: I just wanted you to remember.

Kuro saw a girl walking towards the lab. He walked up to her. "Hi" he said "My name's Kuro."
 
"Maybe I should catch it with my bare hands...That would be much more serious." Eliot says seriously. He then pounced on the Nidoran, ignoring the pain from the spikes as he wrestled it in a serious manner.

OOC: See? I am being very serious.
 
OOC: Lol.

Castelia watched Eliot wrestle the Nidoran, a little baffled why he would wrestle a Pokemon that bore poisonous spikes.
 
"Hi. I'm Camille, and this is my-Oh!" She was stopped in mid-sentence as Electabuzz began sparking at Kuro, and her hair spiked up again. She then repeated the process of brushing her hair down. "As I was saying, this is my Electabuzz." She finished, motioning to Electabuzz, who just looked at him.
 
OOC:Whatev.

"Cool" he said "This is my Charmander. By the way are you a trainer or a coordinator?"
 
"I do not feel so well..." Eliot says, looking ill, as Nidoran falls asleep, with Eliot still clutching it.
