Episodes from the original Pocket Monsters series and Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! will be available on the Japanese Hulu site. New episodes of Best Wishes! will be uploaded the Friday after they air on TV-Tokyo.

Also, Hulu is a paid service in Japan.

Interesting. Although its a paid service making the episodes more available is definitely appreciated.

Now to suddenly "move" to Japan.

Wow, this is something I remember saying they should have done a LONG time ago. With a series that has nearly 750+ episodes, kids and older fans wanting or rewatch the older episodes should have a legal means to do so online.

This is probably the best decision they could have done, I only hope they put up every series.

It's nice to see that the Japanese fans have a means to watch these episodes legally outside of the weekly Pokemon Smash shows. Even though they have to pay to access these episodes, I'm sure that some people in Japan are willing to finance these costs.

Can't you use a proxy and Paypal?

Wow. It's about time. Now get up every series!

I thought the video quality for BW would be a bit better than that, but it's still good. Interesting how the description for it mentions it takes place right after Shinou.

Man, I wish this could be free. Just imagine, everyone could finally watch the show in Japanese in its original form, and actually legally.

I hope this is the preview of the future. Every episode online legally streamed and in its original format. Of course there would be no subtitles, but its not as if we don't all pretty much know what's going on.

The Arti gym battle episode still has the notice about the Rocket/Plasma episodes being skipped.

I guess they took these directly from the TV broadcast. You'd think they'd get DVD rips.

This is cool news. Hopefully more people can watch Pocket Monsters the way it was MEANT to be seen (and heard!) without the dubbers effing everything up :)

Hmm... that white text in the top part of the rectangle on the right of this page says something that Google Translate translates as "attempt to start a 2-week free trial"?

Yeah, you can get a two week free trial. Though they'll probably want Japanese information.

I wouldn't be surprised...

Looking more, there's an English version of the Japanese Hulu, and oh, they really do intend to serve this for Japan only. (Even the one and a half minute previews for the episodes...) In any case, this is cool...

They require you to give them your credit card information when you sign up for the free trial.
