Pokemon Journey Across America

I may go when it comes to New York but just for Celebii, not the tournament. I would have started a team a while back if I planned on competing
 
I am going to the Pittsburgh one on June 10th!! ^^

And yes, I do plan on competing in the championship tournament!!!!


The only thing is, I still have to get my team up to level 100, which shouldn't be too hard if I go about it the right way. ^_^
 
I went to the Los Angeles one. It was fun, but there was just one horrible thing that happened. I brought my friend, and we were just going to compete in it, and out of 64 people, randomly chosen, they paired him and I up together in the first round. :\ I ended up beating him (barely), but it was one of those :\ wins because, ya know. I got to the 2nd round and lost to a team of Groudon, Kyogre, Mewtwo, Rayquaza. (I hate how the tournament allows those legendaries...every team I saw there had at least 3 of the 4 I mentioned >_>)

Overall it was fun, and I'd suggest anyone that can go to it, to go. :p
 
im going to the one in KS City, MO an may 13. my party so far is Dusclops, Gardevoir, Aggron, Groudon, Suicune, and Blaziken. i might change out groudon and/or gardevoir.
 
It passed by me before I realized it. Turns out I was working that weekend anyway. Meh.
 
Going to Boston. Have to find my games before then, for obvious reasons. It's going to be a fun weekend, as I will be home alone! =p
 
I'll most likely than not be going to the one in Philly.

I have not concerned myself with the tournament since, alas, my SP is broke and I don't want a sudden no-show there. Which reminds me, I ought to put a new SP on birthday list, considering the warranty is bound to be expired by now.
 
Well Aurelia, you can try to find the nearest "journey across america" on Pokemon.com if you are interested in going. I'm planing on shoping and getting celebi & the ledgendary dogs when I go to Chicago in 2 weeks. The sad fact is that I need a wireless adapter (I lost mine!!!! AHHH!) and a ride there with someone I know. I have high hopes in going since I will be wearing a hand-sewn, suicune costume I made myself especially for this occasion! ^_^

Is anyone else wearing a costume? I don't want to look funny...

Sorry.. looks like the closest spot will be at the Westfield Mall in in Montgomery County.

I live in the DC area too... I wish it were more centralized and not so far north of DC.

But at least you have time to plan because I think it comes around sometime in late July or early August.
 
To Tolens love: u dont need a wireless adapter, the staff at the JAA well bring them
 
I'm going for all the Celebi and stuff today, in KC.


EDIT: I got pulled from the raffel. So I entered, then lost... I got a Celebi, Typhlosion, and all the Ledgendary Dogs.

It was awesome!

That's a really good question. How common is cosplay at these events? Because I'd love to go as Domino, but I don't want to be the lone costumed freak.
 
Omg Guys, I have 3 days to the JAA. Im not competing, im a bit rusty on my ruby game and I dont have pokemon that are powerful. Finally I can get a Celebi, after all these years . Im gonna tell u how it went! So stay tune.
