To the west of the Kalos region is a large island called Moonlight Island. Most people do not know it's there unless they stumble onto it by accident. The reason being is that electronics do not work and malfunction within five miles of the island. There is also a thick, heavy fog surrounding the outside of it, which normally masks the entire island. But occasionally, there are people and pokemon alike that happen upon it. Due to the unusual isolation of this place, many that arrive onto the island, usually never make it back out....alive. Moonlight Island is dangerous. Wild pokemon are much more vicious, and less understanding of humans. Most inexperienced trainers don't last long here, and if they do, then they are considered lucky. Those that DO manage to leave the island alive are generally scarred from the experience, either physically, mentally, or emotionally. (In extreme cases? All the above.) And they leave with a story that won't be soon forgotten. The closest port town to the island would be Cyllage City. It's about 58 miles from the island. There's normally lots of cyclists in the city, usually holding bike races and the sort. But just off to the city's coast is a small hut. And old, former trainer with scars covering him. His name is Cojins. The only pokemon left with this old man is an arcanine that's almost as tall as he is at the shoulder. Cojins is one of the lucky few that has made it out alive from the island. And it's left him very cautious and suspicious of everything around him and his beloved fire pokemon. The gym leader, Grant, sometimes visits him when there are no challengers. Grant sometimes worries about the man because of the stories he told him. The gym leader believes Cojins, and often just visits to check on him, which Cojins doesn't mind. But other then that, the man lives alone with just arcanine by his side, alert and ready for danger. The experience traumatized him and his pokemon, in more ways then one. Most that pass by and see the small hut in the short distance usually pass by it on their way to the city. Mostly trainers traveling to challenge Grant for a gym badge, or tourists touring the coastal region. Moonlight Island remains in almost complete isolation as always, unless an unlucky few stumble upon it's bloody shores. There are no shops, no form of digital communication, and almost no other humans. There are ghosts of dead trainers and their pokemon that haunt the shores, and some survivors that have learned to defend themselves and be on high alert. These survivors have found ways to live on the island without being detected by the vicious pokemon that hunt them. Though they've never found a way off the island.

- All sign-ups are to be completed and approved before the RP starts.
- If there is a question, then ask me. I'll do the best I can to help.
- Everyone must pick a starter pokemon. I'll provide a list of some that may be used, or you may ask for one that is not on the list, and I might approve of it. Depends on what it is.
- I will allow up to 20 players to be accepted, unless I see the rp is going good then I may decide to let more players join.
- This will be a turn-based rp. That means there is an order to whom posts, and when. (Only exception is when I put in NPCs to move players along in the storyline.)
- If you put in a reservation, then you have 4 days to complete the sign-up. After that, the spot is no longer reserved and up for grabs by the next person that asks.
- If you do not post when it's your turn, then after about 4 days, you will be skipped that turn and the next person will post.
- Mention caterpie somewhere in your sign-up.
- Most of all? Have fun.
