zHello, My name is Prof. Oak. In this world, exist many mysterious creatures known as Poke'mon. People have befriended Pokemon, and we keep them as pets or battle together to strengthen the bonds we have with one another. My job is to study the relationship between people and Poke'mon. Despite our close relationship, there are still many mysteries about Pokemon that elude our knowledge. I'm sure you've heard though, I'm giving several lucky youths their very first Pokemon, so they can start there very own journey of grand adventure. I look forward to seeing you.

This is a Kanto Journey RP, you will play a beginging Pokemon Trainer or Pokemon Coordinator (Or both) who plans to take the Kanto Region by storm when they start their journey from Prof Oak's Lab in Kanto Region. Please bare in mind, that if you sign up for this RP, you are committing to posting daily and at the very least notifying me when you want to leave or are unable to post for awhile.

Appearance: Alice is a petite girl who stands at 5,1 and weighs 95 lbs. She has pale white skin with pin straight black hair that comes down to her shoulders when left untouched. She usually wears her hair so that she has long bangs and 2 pigtails on the sides of her head tied with two white bows. Her large eyes are are a dark cyan blue, and tend to be sullen looking, like she's bored. Even when speaking in a joyful manner, her voice is monotone in melancholy way. Alice typically wears a one piece sleeveless black gothic Lolita style dress with a bell skirt that comes down to her mid thigh with a white trim. Under her skirt she wears black leggings with a white ribbon wrapped around her right ancle, and elegant black shoes with a small pronounced white heel. Alice also wears a set of long fingerless gloves up her arms that act as separate sleeves. Do to her sensitive skin and wanting to keep a pale complexion, she typically uses a black lace parasol when outdoors. Her attire is then completed with a black purse with white cross on the side.

Personality: Alice is a girl who comes across with an unnatural elegance and grace that is not typically seen by girls her age, despite her proper nature and dainty demeanor, Alice can come across as blunt, arrogant, and even a little condescending. Despite this however, she has kind heart, and she would put her life on the line for a friend or her Pokemon. She come across as very cold and scary when angered, and her glares could send a Gyrados running away in terror. This is usually shown when people mistreat others or Pokemon, or when others start to get on her nerves. Alice is very fond of tea and sweet pastries, roses (Particularly red, white, and black roses)

History: Alice is from a wealthy family from Lavender Town, her father being a very wealthy CEO of Lobelia Electronics. Her mother died when she was 6, and ever since, she has worn black clothing because of her scarring. Alice's father was always protective of his only daughter, she was never aloud to have any friends other then the children of her father's colleagues, but she never quite saw eye to eye, she grew bored of her life of glamour, and felt more lonely then ever without her mother. At the age of 10, Alice snuck away from Lobelia Manor, and wandered off to the Pokemon Tower. Alice then witnissed for the first in her life, a true joy of being with a Pokemon. She had befriended the Ghost Pokemon of Pokemon Tower, and started to dress in elegant gothic dresses to mimic her favorite Pokemon, instead of mourning her mother. She snuck away and visited Pokemon Tower so often, rumors started spread that she was a ghost that haunted the Pokemon Tower, and she was dubbed the Black Rose of Lavender. When Alice turned 15, she heard that Prof Oak was giving away Pokemon for new trainers, and asked father if she could leave on her journey. Her father outraged that she would "Put herself in danger" refused to let her go. Tired of being a prisoner to her own father, she ran away from home to fulfill her dreams of being with Pokemon and Competing in Contests and Gym Battles.

Name: Deandre Taylor
Age: 15

Appearance: Deandre stands at about 5'9" and weighs 150 pounds and has dark brown eyes. Skin color being a
a light brown, with black hair that is under a black hat His attire typically
consists of black and red. He usually wears blue jean with a red shirt, and
wears a black jacket over the red shirt.

Personality: Deandre is very easy going and always seeks new adventure. He sometimes is
over confident, but makes it up for being understanding of people. Hes nice to everyone he meets for the most part
unless the person prooves otherwise. And despite him being over confident at times,
he knows his limits and won't challange anything that he can't handle.

History: Deandre lived a quiet life in Viridian City, and as a child he has always been
interested in pokemon. When he was younger he would go out to play with the wild Pokemon
on Route 1. And also as a child he would sneak out at night to see the wild pokemon in
Viridian Forest. But once he witnessed trainers catching and training pokemon in Viridian City
at first he was weary and oblivious to what they were doing, but he soon realized and gained
even more of an interest, and he vowed to one day become a Pokemon Trainer where he could
bond with more Pokemon and explore the world as their friendship grew.

Name: Signs Aoi
Age: 13
Gender: Male

Appearance: Signs is tall at 6’2’’ with a thin frame. He has short brown hair and sapphire blue eyes. He wears a long-sleeved black shirt with a blue hooded t-shirt vest, and blue jeans. His shoes are red sneakers matching his re backpack and his red hat that has a white circle in the center. On his hands are blue fingerless gloves.

Personality: Signs is kind and caring towards pokemon, and gets along well with others. He will state his opinion on something regardless of what it is. He tends to be quiet but not reserved and prefers caution. He thinks things through before fully acting and studies the situation. He is very defensive about something that concerns his pokemon or family and feels strongly against evil deeds. He is awkward in terms of romance or girl things and prefers to stay out of them, but can talk normally and act normal around a person regardless of gender. He is not afraid to use physical violence against another male.

History: Signs grew up in Twinleaf town in the Sinnoh Region with his parents. At 6 his father died in an accident leaving Signs with just his mother. His father had given him a hat before his death which Signs always wore. One day he didn’t wear it due to kids daring him, several accidents (not fatal) happened in the town earning him the nickname Lucky Hat by the residents. At nine his mother became very sick. Luckily she recovered though not without the dedication of Signs and his grandmother who moved in when she fell ill. At eleven they moved to Pallet Town for a change, but his mother fell ill again leaving Signs to care for her with his grandmother’s help. At thirteen the two arranged for him to go on a journey as he dreamed of, with the promise that his grandmother, much to his worry, would take care of her.

Name: Jake Laurey
Age: 15
Gender: Male

Appearance: Jake is moderately tall for his age, standing at 6'0, and has a rather fair complexion. He has a well-toned, stocky musculature, due to a hardy, vigorous lifestyle. Jake has shaggy, dirty blond hair, which swoops down to cover his light hazel eyes. He normally shoots for comfort rather than style in his clothing, wearing a blue t-shirt with a grey design of a '?' Unown printed on it, under a black zip-up hoodie. Alongside that, Jake usually sports faded, brown cargo jeans and a pair of black and white running sneakers. He tops off the look with a necklace, a Sharpedo tooth on a string that he received as a gift.

Personality: Jake is generally cheerful, and outright avoids conflict. He can be a bit headstrong, meaning well for his friends and family, but is prone to make quick decisions that could possible negatively affect himself and those around him. He is a keen learner and very knowledgeable on the subject of Pokemon; he's always had a soft spot for them. As well, he's world-weary without the burden of being world-wise. Jake is quite bold and isn't normally one cautious about taking risks. When Jake finds that he makes a mistake, he is quick to blame himself. While this means that he never holds anyone else responsible for his actions, it also means he tends to carry a lot guilt, which can damage his self-confidence, at times. All in all, Jake is an outward, down-to-earth pre-teen, loaded with a love for adventure.

History:Jake was born in Cerulean City, a year before his younger sister, making him the oldest of two. He was raised by his mother and father in a large manor house near the local gym, and, his family being neither poor nor rich, had a classic middle-class upbringing. Jake lived a fairly normal life. He had a lot of friends at school and was generally liked by the people who knew him. He would often train Water-type Pokemon with the Gym Leader, Misty, however, he wasn't overly fascinated by them like his sister was. While he did devote most of his time to Pokemon training, Jake also spent time studying to keep his grades up.

At the age of thirteen, he began getting into battling as a sport. He started watching tapes of famous trainer battles and became more interested in travelling. Once his parents discovered Jake's interest in battling, they sent him to the Pokemon Trainer School in Saffron City. He learned the basics and studied hard, and, even though he was outclassed by a few of the smarter students, graduated at the top of his class. Once he turned 14, his parents decided Jake could finally go on his journey.

Name: Dante From Devil May Cry
Age: 15

Personality: Dante From Devil May Cry is a very silly man. He's quite impulsive, and has very little willpower when it comes to food and pornagraphy. He's also quite violent, preferring to solve problems with his fists. He's quite prone to showing bouts of kindness to others, though it is somewhat rare.

History: Dante From Devil May Cry was born to the demon king Sparda. So he knows his shit. He tried being a demon hunter. But he forgot that there aren't any demons in the Pokemon world and ended up accidentally killing a random dude. He luckily managed to evade the police, and decided to become a Pokemon trainer. After all, the police were looking for a demon hunter, not a trainer.

@Heroic Sociopath; Okay.... Um... Where to begin... Well first off, I'd appreciate a surname that wasn't trademarked Anime... 2nd off His appearance is a little two fantasy like for the Pokemon Universe. Third off, his violent nature coupled with his fondness for porn is a little mature for a Teen rated RP. Last, there's his rather violent history which involves evading the law and killing someone.

I'll be happy to reserve Eevee for you until a more appropriate sign up is made, K.

Appearance: James is just like all normal humans. He has a height of 6’3 and weighs 190 lbs. He has an average build (not so muscular and not so flabby) He has slightly fair skin yet some people call him black. He usually sports a thick, messed up hairstyle because he lets nature decide his hairstyle. His eye color is brown which was inherited from his mother. He wears a gray shirt with a Pokeball imprinted on the back. This gray shirt is covered by his full black leather jacket. He wears black pants to match this leather jacket. He also wears black sneakers (which serves as his running shoes). He sometimes wears black fingerless gloves when in an official battle (such as against gym leaders or in the Pokemon League).

Personality: James is a typical ordinary guy although he does have some issues. He is talkative and sometimes stutters. He’s tactless and gets easily angry at other people’s faults (regardless if it was little or large) and is also a not so trustworthy guy. Because of that, he has little to no friends. On the other hand, he is slightly curious and is good at scavenging. He likes to exercise to maintain his health, weight, strength and agility. James is a bit courageous, ready to stand up for the people he cares about but is yet to be seen of him. He also has average intellect. James is also a very aggressive battler (in his dreams ) and shouts simple commands at his Pokemon as he has been accustomed to.

History: James was born to rich socialites in Cinnabar Island. When he was a child, his parents left him to the care of a Lolita, the Thompson’s maid and caretaker as James’s parents left for business in Unova. Lolita was a very tactless maid. She would usually reprimand James for little misdeeds and gave him short yet insulting and hurtful words. She unknowingly molded him into what he is now. When he was 10, he met Blaine the Gym Leader. He instantly became a rabid fan of his, watching all of his gym battles and seeing the glory and power of Fire types while analyzing its weaknesses and how a fire type could overcome its weaknesses. Eventually, he started mock battles in his dreams, fighting against Blaine, winning sometimes or losing. Regardless, he was overjoyed as he developed a fiery passion in battling. He dreamt of going on a journey and becoming Champion but knew he needed to train hard and have his own Pokemon. Eventually by age 13, he was given a chance to do battle with Blaine in an unofficial match. He rented a Growlithe from Blaine and fought against his Ponyta. He lost that battle but he learned from the experience. A few days after that experience, Lolita died of an unknown cause. Now that he was alone and with no means to earn money, he sold his house and lot (which was eventually torn down) and decided to live in a yacht which his parents owned before (with the remaining money used for his basic needs). However, this tough experience did not sidetrack his goal of becoming a fierce battler and become Champion. By the age of 14, he found out that Professor Oak was giving away Pokemon for FREE so he set out on his private yacht to Pallet Town, determined to get his own Pokemon.

Appearance: Lonish golden-brown hair that is always in his sparkling emerald eyes. He is always wearing long black socks, and hates wearing shorts. He has a patch of freckles over his nose, and one of his teeth is chiped from wrestling with his siblings, so now he can't say his s's right.

Personality: Chris is really shy, because he was teased at school a lot for not having a Poke'mon. He doesn't like telling people about himself much. If he makes a friend, he expects that friend to stay his friend, no matter what. When asked a question, he will probably sutter, or mumble out "I don't know...". He loves his siblings to no extent, and want's to help them out. He loves the color green, and is usually seen wearing a green T-Shirt. He has a neon green/purple hat, looking like the B/W hero hat.

History: Chris grew up in Jubilife city, very close to Sandgem Town, where you could obtain a Poke'mon. Most kids would get their starter at the age of 8. Chris's mother is very protective, and said he couldn't get one until he was 10. The other kids teased him, saying that he was just to chicken to get a starter. When the day came when he could chose a Poke'mon, his dad got offered a job in Kanto, and they moved. His mother was more worried, and upped the age to 13. Ever since, he was become more shy.

Appearance: Dresses in a black dragon tamer style outfit complete with cape, stands tall and is fairly skinny at 5"7 with long wavy black hair and emerald green eyes, keeps fit through being constantly on the move through her thirst for adventure.

Personality: Very loyal and caring and has a mothering streak, Mila hates to see anyone upset, however she is also quick to anger at times, especially in matters relating to her own family. She hides deep feelings of resentment after her twin brother Raven vanished one day, presumably having fallen in with a bad crowd, seeing the effects that this had on their family, she decided to leave the shelter of her home town (Lavender Town) to track him down and seek answers. As a child she loved exploring the Pokemon Tower :)

History: Having spent their entire lives living in Lavender town, Mila and Raven grew up leading a sheltered life, both of them taking a keen interest in ghost Pokemon as well and the channelers that lived in the Pokemon tower. Raven always wanted to become a trainer, however as they both grew older.... so did his urge for being the most "powerful trainer" in any region, and so he sought out bad people, who had little interest in the welfare of pokemon as well as their trainers whilst Mila, intending to travel one day took her time and stayed within the town practicing her training and studying. Their parents tried to make him see sense, even forbade him from leaving the town, however one night he snuck out.... with no intention of returning. For weeks, they sought him out, scouring the entire town and its surroundings but due to their ill health, their parents could not scour the rest of Kanto to look for him. It was then Mila decided that she was to begin her journey, seeking out her brother with the intention of bringing him home. She and her parents argued, but eventually, they agreed and after a tearful goodbye she set off on her journey around Kanto
