Pokémon Legends: Z-A to feature as a casual play segment in the Brazilians Against Time 2025 charity marathon, benefiting Doctors Without Borders

The Brazilian speedrunning community will be coming together for Brazilians Against Time (BRAT) 2025 between October 15th and October 19th. The event will be raising money for Doctors Without Borders. In what may well be a first and last time the author of these articles will get to report on this, a Pokémon game will feature as part of the speedrunning event on the day of its release. Just a block of a casual playthrough, mind you - they're unlikely to finish and there's no indication this is going to be a speedy casual playthrough. The event can be watched from its Twitch Channel.

BRAT is a series of speedrunning marathons held since 2016 (when it was known as Br.AT). They have raised over 330 thousand Brazilian reals for charity through marathons held online and in-person alike.
