The Breaking The Habit charity marathons were started by LPsoldier0303 in honor of Chester Bennington, a person who gave helped many people while they were at their lowest points, who tragically took his own life in 2017. LPsoldier0303 started the yearly event in Bennington's name to help those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts, and those who are coping with loss from suicide.
