Light and darkness are two things that have always gone against each other since the beginning of time. Light representing pureness and good, it shows a person's feelings, their goodness and their happiness, light is what a lot of people would consider the source of all goodness. Darkness on the other hand, like everyone knows represents a person's anger, their desire for things, their jealousy and greed. Even though everyone's born holding light, as their lives go on they start to change, they either stay in light or go to darkness.
Here's the thing, lately there has been people with great abilities that allow them to control either darkness or light depending on their life experiences, you don't have to be totally evil to have darkness and you don't have to be totally good to have light. You're one of this people, even though it's pretty well balanced, it's mostly trainers who show this type of talents, but the same goes for Coordinators and normal people too. The power of light or darkness allow you to increase the strenght of your Pokemon or the catching rat eof a pokeball, which is why it makes it so much easier.
Because of this, the only Pokemon able to take all the power are legendary Pokemon, they're still hard to find but they're easy to capture now.

Appearance: Peter is a twelve year old and he's 4'15, Peter has a messy coffee brown hair, he wears a green shirt with a shell like mark on the middle, he normally wears a pair of blue jeans with a pair of black shoes, and gloves, he's not a freaky glove user he just gets used to them because he works in a Pokemon Ranch.
Personality: Peter's a very kindhearted and cheerful guy, he's a hard worker while still having time to enjoy himself in the ranch, which is what makes the Pokemon like him so much. Peter isn't exactly spoiled, but he likes to get what he wants, even when he knows he won't be able to get it in any way.
Pokemon: Jolteon, Torchic
Affinity: None
History: Peter lives in a ranch with his dad, they've lived there for as long as he can remember, even though there's a lot of ranches in Ranch Valley, their ranch is the most famous one due to Peter treating the Pokemon with great care and the fair prices the ranch has, which is why a lot of famous trainers leave their Pokemon there. Peter never met his mother, his dad says she died when he was just a baby. He doesn't give it much thought though; because he knows his father doesn't like it. He normally plays with the Torchic that was given to him when he was ten by a trainer that visited the ranch, Jolteon isn't his because it's actually his dad's but his dad says that he'll have it when he gets older.
