There isn't much info on Bulbapedia about these subjects, like on PPL, there isn't any info on game modes, and Mewtwo is playable in it, by inputting a special code.

And PL, there's no info on the plot and there's no article on MechaMew2, could there be one please?

Why don't you add it yourself and make it better, instead of pointing out the flaws for other people to fix. You seem to know a lot about those two subjects. You could probably do a better job adding information than other people can, like me for instance.
