Pokémon makes appearance in UoC scavenger hunt

For the 2007 University of Chicago scavenger hunt, item 137 on the list reads:

_____ ’Em all. [493/100 points]

A measly 4.93 points for 493 Pokémon, of which 2 are supposed to be unobtainable at present? I don't think so.

In what medium do they have to be collected?

Someone could just get a poster representing all 493...

I have no idea.

But to be honest, compared to some of the other items on the list, this seems rather more achievable and requires considerably less daring and/or resources (e.g. 321. Stage the cafeteria scene from High School Musical in one of the UofC dining halls during a mealtime. [15 points]), so perhaps 4.93 points is appropriate...
