A new version of Pokémon Masters EX, Version 2.50.0, is now available to download. This new version brings several new features and quality-of-life changes, including the new Superawakening feature, and improvements to the photo creator. The game's producer also revealed details this week on several new components of the game in their monthly message to players, along with information about upcoming Sync Pairs. The next letter is slated for late November, and will include information about new Sync Pairs coming at the end of that month, and details on events that will be running in December.

Update Summary
The full changelog from the Version 2.50.0 update can be read here. Below, we've summarized the most notable changes with this update which directly impact on the gameplay experience.

New Superawakening Feature
Superawakening, a feature that was previewed mentioned in the last developer message, has now been added as a new method for strengthening Sync Pairs. After raising a Sync Pair’s move level to 5, players can raise their Superawakening level up to five ranks. To raise a Sync Pair’s Superawakening level, players need tomes and codices of that Sync Pair’s type, as well as a Custom Superawakening Candy. Players can get this Candy by going to the Superawakening screen from the Upgrades menu and exchanging items such as a Superawakening Candy, 5★ Move Candy, 5★ Custom Move Candy of that Sync Pair, or 5★ Move Candy for that Sync Pair’s Role.

Superawakening is a special upgrade that is only available for select Sync Pairs. The following 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs are scheduled to receive Superawakening on October 30th, at 11:00pm (PDT).

Starting at Tiers 1, 2, and 4, players will receive one 5★ Custom Move Candy for the featured Sync Pair as a present, and two at Tier 5. At Tier 3, Players will be able to select one 5★ Sync Pair of their choice after scouting.

New 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs with Superawakening are also scheduled to arrive starting October 30th, with the debut of Sygna Suit Ingo & Chandelure (see below). Unlike with some past Trainer Lodge updates, Shauna & Chesnaught are not currently being featured in any regular Scout alongside this addition, however the pair are available in the permanent sync pair scout pool.

New Alt. Sync Pairs for Ingo and Emmet debut alongside a brand new Story Event
As previewed in the trailer released earlier this week, two new Sync Pairs featuring Ingo and Emmet in Sygna Suits are set to debut on October 30th alongside a new Story Event, Story Event Sygna Siblings—All Aboard.

Sygna Suit Ingo & Chandelure are a Ghost-type Sprint Sync Pair with a Tech EX Role, and the ability to Dynamax. Being built around inflicting status conditions, the pair are able to leave their targets burned or confused with Will-O-Wisp and Confuse Ray. Their main attack is their Rising Flames Hex Buddy Move, which can be activated when there is at least one opponent that is affected by a status condition, flinching, confused, or trapped. This Buddy Move has various effects that can activate based on the specific status conditions and status changes its target is affected by. Their Inbound Train Announcement Passive Skill meanwhile reduces their sync move countdown by two when their max move targeting an opponent that is affected by a status condition is successful, as well as increasing their Special Moves ↑ Next effect by two ranks when its max move targeting an opponent that is flinching, confused, or trapped is successful.

Sygna Suit Emmet & Eelektross are an Electric-type Field Sync Pair with a Tech EX Role, with the ability to Dynamax. Sygna Suit Emmet & Eelektross have synergy with Sygna Suit Ingo & Chandelure, being able to activate a variety of effects depending on which status condition and interference is currently affecting opponents. Using their Thunder Fang Move in combination with their The Rest Will Be Totally Different Passive Skill, they will leave any opponent they hit Trapped, as well as having an increased chance of leaving them Paralyzed, and a clance to flinch. Their primary attack however is their Descending Lightning Wild Charge Buddy Move, which can be activated when there is at least one opponent that is affected by a status condition, flinching, confused, or trapped, such as debuffing opponents, or restoring the HP of allied Sync Pairs. On top of all this, Sygna Suit Emmet & Eelektross also have the ability to apply an Unova Circle (Defensive) Field Effect through their Unova Solidarity Status Move. This Field Effect can be expected to powers up the special attack and sync moves of the player's team by 5%, while reducing all attack move and Sync Move damage received by allies (from both physical and special moves) by 10%. These values should be boosted when the team includes additional Sync Pairs with the Unova Theme skill, up to a maximum of 20% power-up and 25% damage reduction.

Players who team up with each of these pairs will be able to select Special Pose 2 for them in the Photo Creator. This Special Pose will also be added for Ingo & Excadrill, and Emmet & Archeops.

Extreme Battle Event Pasio Subway
Players will face off against Ingo and Emmet in this new Extreme Battle Event beginning on October 31st. Seven battles will be available in this event in total, with one being added every four days.

Rewards such as Co-op Sync Orbs and Move Candy Coins can be obtained by completing each battle, and players will also be able to receive Certificates of Excellence by completing Missions. In addition, players can get a special Title for Sygna Suit Ingo by completing the battle that will be added on November 24th, as well as a special Title for Sygna Suit Emmet by completing all of the Missions for the event.

Other upcoming Updates and Events

The Story Event All Aboard the Victory Train, starring Ingo and Emmet, will return sometime in early November.

New High Score Event and Ultimate Battle
