EDIT from Hallow♥: This thread has been closed due to age, post numbers, and inactivity.

Well, I've decided to re-create the Pokemon Match Game. TSS originally created it, but it died a while back, so I'm here to bring it back to life, and have fun. (This is based off of the game show, Match Game) :p

How it works is pretty simple. To start off, the first 2 people to reply back will be the 2 contestants. In your posts you must write "Contestant" so it makes it easier for me to distinguish. After that, the next 6 people to reply will be the panelists. Those next 6 posters must say "Panelist" in their reply.

Once we have the 8, we can begin the game.

I'll take the first contestant to write in "Contestant" and give them a question. They'll think about it, while the 6 panelists write their entries. The Key here is the 6 panelists use the SPOILER command. That way, they can say their response without the contestant seeing. (This is also using the honor system, so whoever is the contestant, please don't peek at the spoiler tag. :p) After the 6 panelists come up with their answers, the contestant will say his/hers. I will then see how many were right, and tally them up. After that, the next contestant will be up.

It will consist of 3 rounds. So the best 2 out of 3 will determine the winner. The winner will automatically go into the next game as a contestant, or as a panelist, whichever he/she decides. The 6 panelists will switch everytime though, and one new contestant will be added.

So, let's see if this works out. I hope I said everything right, and remember what I said, haha.

And thus we begin, we need 2 contestants and 6 panelists. Remember the rules, and let's have fun! :) (I'll be sure to reply back as often as I can.)

I'll be keeping a record in this post of who is currently a contestant and who is part of the panel. Easier that way. :p

Current Contestants:
1. LightningTopaz
2. Dash456

Current Panelists:
1. Orbi
2. Geoffrey2004
3. Mewiscool
4. MollyHaleIsMyFriend

Eh, I guess I'll play, since you asked.
PANELIST.

Alright, we have 2 Panelists...Just need 4 more, and 2 contestants and we can begin! :-D

The contestant sits and waits while the panelists put in their spoiler answers to the question that I give. After all 6 give their answers, then the contestant gives his/hers. :p

Anyway, added you to the panelist.

Alright, added as a contestant. :)

Now we just need one more contestant and 3 more panelists and we can begin.

I hope so as well. :p Then again...I hope we can get enough people to actually play the game too. lol

Hah cool. :p I don't think we'll be needing it for this though... lol

You wouldn't happen to have an mp3 of the music from the 1990 Match Game, would you, LT? I'm putting together a presentation based on it and I could use it. (I used to have it, but I lost the CD with my game show music collection about three years ago~~)

Anyways, count me in.

So you found it???

Yep... I've actually got the theme music from the 1973, 1990, and 1998 versions along with the 1983 hour-long show that combined it with Hollywood Squares AND the original 1962 version.

This CD's got over 100 files on it...

Ok, added Dash456 as the 2nd contestant and MollyHaleIsMyFriend as a Panelist. All we need now is just 2 more panelists and we can finally begin! :-D
