Im not sure this is the right section for this, but i cant see anywhere better for it.

i got fed up of not knowing the best offencive against each Pokemon, and the two options i had were a) look it up on bulbapedia (but you have to be near the Internet) or b) look it up in my official platinum guide (which weighs a ton and is not portable)

so i figured i could make a flash file for my phone to let me quickly look up the weaknesses of any Pokemon. it works pretty well, so i reckon other people may get some use from it. its free, and as per the bulbapedia licence, it attributes bulbapedia and is under the same licence (see the readme or the about pages)

I know them all in my head (is that a good english phrase?), I don't need such a thing ;)
 
This is awesome.
It's on my phone now.. I doubt I'll use it much, but it's still bloody awesome, good job :)
 
When I began to memorize all things Pokémon, one of the first things I memorized was the type effectiveness chart. Plus, if I really need to check it on the go, the help menu in FRLG has a broken-up type chart I can try to decipher.
 
Ive posted version 2 in the first post, ive added the ability to see the picture and platinum pokedex entry for each pokemon.

not strictly neccicary, and version 1 is smaller without it, but like i said before im making this for me in the first place. its something i wanted, so now its available if anyone wants it :)

any phone with even the most basic flash support. my phone is a nokia 6120 classic (really basic) so if my phone can run it most others with flash should :)

it was built on flash 1.1 which iirc is the most basic flash currently still available. so if your phone has the ability to run flash files, then it should be able to run this ;D
 
i know this is double posting, but i would just like to add:
if your phone cant run this but you want to play with it, the swf can just be used in an internet browser like a normal flash file

secondly id like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for additions (or errors they have noticed), just anything you think might be a useful addition or whatever, please post in here or PM me. im kind of bored now this is finished and want something else to add or do :)
 
Perhaps something with each Pokémon's moveset (through level-up, breeding, tutors, etc.).

I occasionally do my breeding on my hour long bus journey, and without internet access it's hard to figure out which two Pokémon to leave, when I want to pass on moves and that.

The weakness dex is awesome though, thanks for making it :)
