Hi everyone! Can somebody help me? I'm a lover of Pokémon Music and unfortunately i can't find anything about the Japanese ending theme " Memories" from Kyurem's Movie. I mean the first version of the song which is used in the background of the first trailer of the movie (you can hear the song at 1:55).

The question is... nobody know why they changed the song? And this song is available in CD in Japan or i can buy it somewhere? :eh:

I can only assume there was input from someone (either from the label or Pokemon) that wanted it changed. Can you tell if the liner notes for the version that was released credit Pokemon in any way?

Unfortunately my copy of the CD is sitting in storage back in America so I won't be able to check until the next time I'm in the U.S.

"Memories" was Rola's first single and so there was probably a lot of pressure on everyone involved to make sure they put out the best version of the song that they could so that may be part of why it was changed. All for naught, it turns out; Rola hasn't released any new music since "Memories" came out in 2012.

What you mean for "Liner Notes" the credit's in the Trailer about the song?

Probably is this the reason... sad, because the first version of the song was really good!

"Liner notes" are the paper that's packaged in with the CD that describe who composed/performed/arranged/produced each song (some downloads have a digital equivalent). As a point of comparison, some of the songs for Pokemon: The First Movie state "Copyright 1999 Nintendo", implying that thew were written or rewritten for the movie (this isn't a guarantee, however). I was suggesting to look at the liner notes for the version of "Memories" that was released for something similar.
