The second Pokemon Mystery Dungeon special aired on Japanese TV yesterday morning, and it seems to have fallen under everyone's radar. I only caught the end of it and saw the DP pokemon face off against Gabite.

For those of you who missed the special, the TV-Tokyo's "AniTele" website will be streaming the episode from September 13th until September 30th.
 
It was déjà-vu to hear lines and see scenes almost identical to the previous episode. But otherwise it seems more intriguing than PMD1 with this Gear of Time stuff.

Also of note: Team Ota animated this episode.

Does that mean they'll do the same thing like they did with the first special?

You don't need to understand Japanese to be able to watch it...you can watch whether you know what they're saying or not. >_>
 
I mean if it's on a japanese site, how am I supposed to know which button to press to watch the movie! Or something close to that.

Just press some obvious buttons still a screen shows up. They'll usually be under a screenshot, not too hard to find.
 
Read the original post. It's not up yet. The episode won't be posted until September 13th.
 
I suppose we can't expect the dub of this until the games are set to come out here. When that time comes, I hope we can expect a better dub voice for Piplup than what it's got now...
 
They casted the VAs for the first MD special along different lines than the regular anime. I'm curious as to what Chatot will sound like, for it can already speak English in its regular voice.

Just 1 question - did the first MD special ever aired on japanese TV? i know about streaming version, byt never heard snything about actual airing...
 
Could I get confirmation on something? Are all these voice actors for the Pokémon in the special the same actors who would do the voices for those Pokémon in the regular show? It sounds like they are.

Also...looks like this isn't a once off. Further episodes of this mysterious dungeon series will be screening in the future, though only online from the sounds of things.
