POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON: STAR RAVERS​

Hunters, Pokemon who venture out into the world, exploring dungeons and searching for treasure, they are a source of inspiration from the Pokemon that inhabit the world of Pokemon or Arch since they also go on missions in order to serve and support the inhabitants of this world.

Among the Hunter Guilds there is one that has managed to stand above the crowd. The Star Ravers, a legendary guild of Hunters formed by some of the strongest and most powerful Pokemon in the world. This guild has been known for taking on missions and raiding dungeons that no other team would dare to go against and have helped the world grow.

However as the years had passed it has finally come time for the Star Ravers Hunting Guild to retire. As thus the 5 members that make up the Star Ravers will be looking for people that can meet their guild’s requirements and become the team that succeeds them and carries on with their legacy.

Welcome to my new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon RP, first I’ll have to give credit where credit is due. This is actually the remake to an RP that I was in about 5 years ago or so, lately I’ve been having the idea of wanting to revive it and continue it so I decided to bring it all back.

As this is set in the PMD world you’ll be playing a Pokemon. You’ll be signing up as a candidate to become part of the new Star Ravers team, as thus you’re a Pokemon with great skill that has been given the chance to become a part of their successors.

This RP doesn’t have a clear plot itself aside from this, it’ll basically be about going on different missions so you can just relax and lay back if you wish to.

RULES

-The General rules of the RP section and forums apply of course.

-No Tennising, flaming and baiting

-No Bunnying which means you shouldn’t act as other people’s characters

-No Godmodding. And following from this, you will only be able to sign up as either a first stage or a middle stage Pokemon if the Pokemon in question is part of a three stage line.

-Keep the Romance to a Minimum, you can do whatever you want wherever you want but here you have to be good kids okay :p

-My word is law in this RP, meaning that whatever I say and decide will go and stick. I’ll try not to be too tough but do try to follow what I say if the time comes.

-Oh and lastly remember to have fun and behave towards your fellow players.

Name: Sal
Pokemon Species: Charmeleon
Gender: Male

Personality: Sal is a very independent Pokemon, he’s very stubborn which is why he tries to do things on his own and is always worried about proving himself. While he tries to stay on everyone’s good side he is one for doing what he thinks and works by considering how his choices will affect him.

History: Sal lived in the Fire Lands along with many other fire types or other Pokemon that could inhabit that area. He grew up as the son of his village’s leader a black Charizard who was respected by everyone and was one of the strongest Pokemon in the Fire Lands. Unfortunately Sal wasn’t one to meet his father’s expectations and as thus always lived to prove himself with his only friend being an Arcanine that trained him.

From a young age he had always dreamt of becoming a Hunter and as thus trained in many fields so that he could one day become a good Hunter and was eventually able to evolve. After hearing about the Star Raver’s retiring he decided to finally leave his village and join their team as a way to show his father what he was made of.

Special Traits: He has a short scar right under his right eye.
Attacks: Flame Burst, Flame Thrower, Smokescreen, Dragon Rush, Dig, Rock Tomb

Also while this RP's world will be like the one in the games the towns and cities and such don't necissarily have to be the same, you are free to create your own cities and locations if you wish.
 
Name: Schaduw
Pokemon Species: Skrelp
Gender: Male


Personality: Schaduw is a harshly sarcastic and mordant Skrelp with a pessimistic attitude. When he is mad though, he can and will beat up whoever is hurting his friends. He is shy and brittle on the inside, having developed a tough shell to shield his nervous true self.


History: Nothing is known about him.


Special Traits: Schaduw isn't much different from other Skrelp, but he has black scars from getting bullied as a child.

Attacks: Toxic , Water Pulse, Sludge Bomb, Venoshock, Bubblebeam, Mean Look

Name: Wild Jr.
Pokemon Species: Cyndaquil
Gender: Male

Personality: It has a sense of humour, and is sometimes sarcastic. Likes to clown around while in the base, but is serious in dungeons, except for verbal jokes. Extremely loyal. If the need arises, it will even sacrifice itself in a dungeon to save a team member.

History: Had a pretty normal life. Nothing special, apart from a never-ending urge to help other Pokémon in distress

Special Traits: Slightly smaller than the average Cyndaquil. This is a motivating factor, as it strives to prove size isn't everything.

Attacks: Since it is a bit of a newbie, it knows Tackle, Smokescreen, Leer, Ember and Quick Attack.
Thirg looks like an awesome RP, can't wait for it to get underway

Name: Marie

Pokemon Species: Cottonee

Gender: Female

Personality: Marie is always very peppy and optimistic. She loves to make new friends and is very clingy to people she likes. She likes getting into trouble since she finds easy ways to get out of it. She is very tricky and very frustrating to deal with. She is a crybaby and whines a lot.

History: Marie always played tricks on the other Pokemon who lived with her in the Mystifying Forest. She got into trouble a lot and many were wary of her when she was around for fear of her playing a trick on them.

Special Traits: Her two leaves are different sizes making it difficult for her to glide in the wind and move around. Not really special, but she has a wreath of purple flowers weaved through the cotton on her head.

Attacks: Fairy Wind, Poison Powder, Mega Drain, Helping Hand, Stun Spore

Name: Isaac (goes by the nickname "Izzy.")
Pokemon Species: Zigzagoon
Gender: Male

Personality: Izzy is a young and adventurous Pokemon, always ready for the next mission. Although he's relatively inexperienced, his dedication and perseverance have always steered him right. He's happy and cheerful, but can be prone to emotional extremes if pushed. Due to his lack of experience, he can be slightly self-conscious of his own actions at times, blaming himself for failures that may not have even been his fault.

History: Izzy grew up in a small community of Pokemon, one of the youngest of the children there. Most of his friends left to start rescue teams or become adventurers when he just a kid, and he always harbored a strong desire to go off and join them. When he was old enough, he decided to join his friends and become an adventurer. Hearing that a group called the Star Ravers was recruiting, he jumped at the opportunity, applying to become a member almost immediately.

Special Traits: He wears a simple, green scarf around his neck, given to him as a parting gift by his parents. Because of his species, he is also very proficient in finding hidden items.

Attacks: Headbutt, Sand Attack, Pin Missile, Odor Sleuth.

I've always had a thing for PMD roleplays

Name: Aeron
Pokemon Species: Zorua
Gender: Female

Personality: Aeron is a very free-willed and independent Pokemon, but she's okay with admitting that there's some things she can't do on her own. She's pretty outgoing and friendly towards others, but she feels suspicious and skeptical around older Pokemon. However she is very self-conscious about her illusion abilities, one of the reasons is because she doesn't have much control over them. And if anyone asks anything more personal about her, she becomes quiet and shut-in or she lies about the answers.

History: Aeron's father was a fugitive years before she was born, he was called the "blue thief" due to the fact that he would have a blue aura around him when he transformed unlike others of his species, who normally had a pinkish red or black aura. When he was finally caught, his punishment was to be exiled to a far away dungeon where he met a Ditto. Skip some inappropriate stuff, and then Aeron was born. Growing up in a dangerous place filled with wild Pokemon, she became a skilled fighter. She also knew about her father's past, but when she was older it was revealed that his banishment never applied to her. Seeing this as an opportunity, she left her home and set out to join an exploration guild, figuring that she could help out a lot with her skills. When she saw that the Star Ravers were recruiting new members, Aeron immediately signed up. However, she's afraid that if anyone discovers her heritage, she wouldn't be allowed membership.

Special Traits: Aeron looks about the same as every other Zorua does. But she inherited the blue aura trait from her dad, so whenever she transforms she has a blue glow.
Attacks: Feint Attack, Shadow Ball, Grass Knot, and Dark Pulse (sorry if they seem overpowered, but Zorua really does learn almost all of those moves through TM)

Pokemon Species: Dratini
Gender:Male

Personality: Sinai is a bit on the nervous and shy side when first meeting someone, but is open when he gets to know them a bit. He is kind and caring, always willing to help others out, and do anything in his power to do so, well to a point. He is quick to flee, being very afraid of many things, but when push comes to shove, he is willing to put his life on the line for his friends. He also is always trying to learn more about himself due to not being able to remember where he came from. .

History: Sinai has no memory of his history, having woke up one day in a strange town, unknowing of anything other than his name.

Special Traits: Shiny
Attacks: Slam, Twister, Wrap, Thunder Wave, Dragon Rage, Extreme Speed
 
Name: Sky

Species: Noibat

Gender: Male

Personality: Sky is often quiet, yet calm. He is kind of antisocial, sometimes serious. He couldn't recognize a joke if it bit him on the nose. In a situation when he's forced to be put in charge, he often gets super nervous. Sky doesn't handle pressure well, and will often hyperventilate/freak out.

History: He doesn't tell anyone his history. Even if he could remember, Sky is affected by heavy amnesia, and therefore only knows his name.


Special traits: None

Attacks: Dragon Claw, Wing Attack, Fire Fang, Agility, Supersonic, Dragon Rush

Name: Nicoletta

Pokémon Species: Vulpix

Gender: Female

Personality: Nicoletta is a good natured and optimistic Pokémon. She tries to think of the positives in each situation and always strives to do her best. It is quite rare to catch her in a bad mood, as her patience for others is high. She can act serious if the situation calls for it, but in general, Nicoletta enjoys poking fun at her fellow Pokémon and attempts to keep the overall mood cheerful.

History: Living in Treasure Town her whole life, Nicoletta wanted to break out of her sheltered environment. She traveled out to Brine Cave after hearing one of the Pokémon in town talk about it, at the time being ignorant to the dangers of such a dangerous dungeon. Being a fire type, Brine Cave would have normally knocked her out with the water type Pokémon there before she even reached the second floor. No one is quite sure what happened, but she managed to make it out of the dungeon unscathed.

Special Traits: She is very quick and sneaky when it comes to battling. Likewise, she is good at hiding.

Attacks: Ember, Confuse Ray, and Quick Attack.
 
Name: Aurora
Pokemon Species: Totodile
Gender: Female

Personality: For a Totodile, she is much calmer than most. However, when the situation calls, she can be very lively (such as in battles). She loves to explore, and definitely loves to eat. When she's not exploring, battling, or eating, she likes to look up at the sky to relax.

History: Due to an accident she had after being born, she has developed amnesia. She only knows her name.

Special Traits: N/A.

Attacks: Dragon Dance, Crunch, Waterfall, Ice Fang.
