Saw a commercial for it....

Looks like Hoso Animation, not the old kind as we thought.

Pichu sounds like May.

I really wanna see it!
 
And, before anyone asks, YES that is the real name.
 
I am probably the only person NOT looking forward to watching this show. I played the Japanese version of the game and got bored after 10 minutes. I never liked the concept and I have doubts about this special. It could be good though. Meowth has worked out quite well.
 
I liked all the voices except for Pichu's it was just annoying and sounded more like delia, but anyway just too old for a baby . Same goes for the baby Kangaskhan. I liked the manga so hopefully I'll like the anime version. There's not buch we can tell though from the commercial since all it was was showing Squirtle wake up and the group holding those eggs.

The game is utterly frustrating to play, yes. But the story is quite lovely. I don't expect the anime to follow the story though... it's rather long, and boring/repetitive at parts.
 
The commercial makes it seem like their will be more of these too come...considering it is only 30 minutes.

If I recall, isn't the anime supposibly based off the manga? So it can't be all that bad...

Like I said, this could be "The Legend of the Rangers" of Pokemon. Sci-Fi claimed they'd be making a series out of it oly made the pilot. (Though that was due to ratings, I really hope this becomes a series, it would make a great spin-off.)

Reminds me of when we thought their would be a Ranger Spin-off....
 
Yeah, I saw the commercial today too (it aired during Pokemon Chronicles). ^^

And I can't wait to see the Mystery Dungeon special!! It's gonna be really cool!!!! :-D


It has my two favorite things:

1. All the Pokemon can talk.

2. A human gets turned into a Pokemon (Yay! A transformation!)


And yeah, I'm probably the only person here who's really into the "human turning into a Pokemon" storyline. I just love that. It's so cool and interesting. XD
 
Has anyone read the manga in NP? It is awesome imo, and I hope the Anime Dungeon Special follows suit.

I don't think it will. The anime special was produced in Japan like Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon was, right? And that Nintendo Power manga is by some American.
 
There was a PMD manga than ran in CoroCoro last year.

In fact, it will be released as a book on September 28. ISBN 4091402356.
