OOC: Upon recieving all votes, the new thread is now up. Also, transform is having to take a leave of absence for a month, and has asked me to control his character till then.

ooc: all characters are now gathered in the dinner hall. Maya is about to make an announcement with transform.

Maya looked at the gathered students and smiled. She was really happy with the turnout, and believed that this new term, (september 15th folks) was going to be great.

She waited for them all to settle, before speaking. Transform was also standing next to her with cephren. She had created a series of welcome notes, which read:


"To all students!"

Welcome to the academy!, we hope that you enjoy your time here, and make friends, as well as learn. As today is the first day, there are no lessons, just take your time to explore the area. however, please refrain from straying into the distortion canyon, (the tall, dark tower that can be seen north from here) unless supervised by an adult, anyone caught there without a good reason will be punished.

Areas around the academy free for exploration include:

"Luvdisc's lair" A perfect place for couples (found to the south)

"Dugtrio's dugout" the place for ground types

"Misdrevas's Maze" the hangout for ghost pokemon, however, do remember the way out that day, (they change it every single day).....

Alyssa Forest, a safe, happy environment for all pokemon.

Lake Lyria, (found within Alyssa Forest)

And many other places, which I will leave for you to find)

So far, here is a list of the dorms where you are going to stay:

Oh yes, we also have a travelling store that comes around every day, with various goods. (Smeargle's wares), at around 4pm.

ooc: each student starts with 200 pokedollars, will chat to my fellow gamemasters in regards to ways to earn more

After a pleasant lunch, Calvin and Camille got ready to head to the next class of the day. They were both too full to fly, so they just walked.
 
After there was a reasonable amount of quiet, she had the notes handed out and announced:

"Welcome to the academy students!, I am Maya Fey, co headteacher of this establishment, and this is transform, the other joint headteacher, and of course cephren, our deaputy headteacher!"

It is great to see you all, and I hope you enjoy your time here!"

It is now 1pm, and as it is your first day; there will be no lessons at all till tomorrow, so feel free to look around, get to know oneanother and meet your teachers!"

Couldn’t believe that it was the start of school again. This pace had been a home to me while I was a traveler and now it was my home again. I prepared for an amazing entrance to my class. My friend and sometimes assistant Borealis, the Walrein, was joining me for an impressive show of what my class taught. We had worked out the perfect combinations of moves and tactics to show what those students will be capable of when they graduate.

I blasted a surf that covered the entire field outside my classroom. Borealis had frozen it and now we had a giant ice rink. Using aqua jet I formed a spire of water that Borealis turned to ice. All day I had been slowly carving away at it with my sickles. Not a long slide went down it.

The plan was confusing, but I had it all figured out.

"He he lets see them pass the entrance exam. He heh" I chuckled grinding down the edge of the slide on my sickle.

"Hmm Dugtrio's Dugout, sounds interesting enough", the Vibrava thought to himself as he finished his lunch.

He looked around to see all the other students still eating and thought, "I guess I should wait till some of the other students are done before I start looking around"
 
Lucifer was reading the welcome note to himself, having finished lunch not too long ago. "Hm. Lake Lyria sounds interesting. Dugtrio's Dugout...probably not..."

He then saw the listing for Misdreavus's Maze. He shuddered, before dismissing it, and moving on. He made a mental note to never go anywhere near that place if he could help it.

Ignatius was currently perched on the roof of the main hall, the welcoming note floating in front of him. The locations listed didn't really garner much attention from him. But, then again, nothing really did anymore. He didn't find any listing for any volcanic areas, which was a relief. But he got the feeling that there was one of those here anyway.

He noticed the occasional Pokemon or two pass by below him, but gave no response. He wasn't very social. But, then again, it was a bit hard to be social when you're a ghost. Still, he might be able to make a few friends.
 
Maya could see that a few of the other pokemon were still here, and remembered:

"Also, in regards to the misdrevas maze, please if you have a poor memory, take in a member of staff with you, and in regards to the tall creepy looking canyon beyond the academy, that is out of bounds for now, if anyone is caught in that area without a good reason, they will be punished. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to come and see me, cephren or transform!" and with that, she vanished
 
Kris looked at her welcome note, reading and re-reading it.
Alyssa Forest sounds intresting, maybe I should go check that place out. Or the lake. Or both, since the lake's in the forest...
 
Ray flew high above the academy with a slight smile on his face. He had the letter in his hand, and he had finally made it to this place. He landed softly, and slowly glided about 3 feet above the ground. looking at the letter again. He saw dugtrio's dugout and decided to go there. But he first wanted to look around, or better yet, get some food. He glided into the lunch room and took a plate of aspear berries. He ate them slowly, savoring the flavor of it. He saw other pokemon around him, eating their food at a normal pace.
 
Sara looked at the list, fidgeting with her bow.

"Lake Lyria..." she thought. "seems like a good place to meditate..."
 
Flynn saw some other students begin to leave the eating area and, decided to do the same. "I guess the first place to check out would be the Shinkou Dorm, considering that is where I'll be satying" he thought while hovering down one of the hallways.
 
Ray finished his plate of aspear berries and suppressed a slight burp. He then glided out of the lunch room, and began looking for his dorm. On a message board with the various names of the people in specific dorms, his name was under the heiwa dorm. He began to glide towards it. While gliding, he said, "I hope there's a cute girl pokemon there, i havent mated in years!"
 
Calvin and camille were sitting in their dorms, resting and meditating. Camille looked up upon hearing Ray come in. "Hello. You must be Ray." She said.
 
Ray looked towars the emolga and said, "that's me. I just got here. It took me forever to find this place because i was lost." Ray then laughed, embarrased at the fact.
