here's how it works: the first peoson (me) posts a pokemon. the next person tries to guess the origin of its name and posts another pokemon.
and so on...

Ferroseed.

Its a seed thats ferocious? I honestly dont know where ferro comes from.

Victreebel

I believe the "ferro" part has to do with iron (ferrum).

As for Victreebel, it's "victory", and "bell" (which got shrunk into "bel" due to the 10 characters limit).

Gyarados.

Gyarados. Let's break that up. The dos represents it's second rising. Magikarp and it's evolution are based on the legend of the koi. The legend says that if a koi reaches the top of a waterfall, it'd become a dragon. It's first rising was as a koi(Magikarp) and it's second rising was as a dragon(Gyarados). Gyara, I have no idea.

Bisharp.

Galvanization, an electrical process used for (?) and tarantula.

Ariados.
